When I'm stressed out I also like to listen to a long song. My long song is 6 minutes and is called Dance With The Devil.
I listen to something all the time, but for those times when I am resting and relaxing, these work out well for me...

Soundtracks...
Final Fantasy Song Book Mahoroba
Phantasmagoria
Angela Aki - Kiss Me Good-Bye
Angela Aki - Warrior of the Heart

Songs...
Emiko Shiratori - melodies of life english
Chocobo Dungeon - Treasure of the Heart

There are others, but this is just the most recent ones at the moment.
If I don't mention these songs, I'm sure to catch Hell from my dad, because he used to party with this band.

Ghost Riders In The Sky - The Outlaws

Green Grass And High Tides - The Outlaws

Really good songs.

I love all the songs Weird Al Yankovic and Stephen Lynch sing!

Oh, and if I'm in a feel-good romantic mood, I listen to "Everything" by Michael Buble.

And I can't forget Faith Hill's "There You'll Be". I love that song. So peaceful.
How about The Prison Song by System Of A Down for a good relaxing song? It certanly relaxes me.
Oh, yeah yeah, Chaos, Angela's good to listen to when you're stressed. 'Specially songs like Your Love Song and Ai no Uta.

My friends were talking about that Faith Hill song, Ray, and they said it always makes them cry...
Well, that's kinda the entire idea behind those "tear in your beer" country songs.
Listen to Benny Hill's sonorous band. It might prove to be interesting especially when you're getting chased by Nemesis while playing RE3.

GASP- Finally I let that out of my chest. I don't know if it'll help with the contemplative stuff though, it might prove to irritate you more.
