I'm writing my version of a Norse Myth involving Loki, Fenrisulfr, Midgardsormr/Jörmungandr and Hela/Hel. It may be seen in narrative/first person, and I was wondering... whose point of view should I use?
After choosing the first point of view, I'll be writing another, so please type in your second choice as well. Also, its optional, but I could use a reason behind your choice.
And lastly, please put it in if you think the fic should be:
Tame - Lacking in violence, adult humor, and sexual implication. No religious references.
Teen - A moderate amount of violence, adult humor, innuendo, action and some dirty bits. Moderate religious references.
Adult - Non-withheld violence, action, as much adult humor as I could think of, a very good amount of action and full blown sex scenes. Sacrilegious.
I'd say Loki, because it is one of your first characters and so it would be more familiar to yourself and your audience if you used him.

I'm using Mythology as a base for my characters. Fenrir for example, is viewed by most as a monster who will kill Odin, All-Father of the Norse Pantheon. Loki and Fenrir's point of view would show what THEY think though.
I agree quite a bit with the Loki and the second being Fenrir, but I'll wait for others to vote.

And the midgard serpent?
I can't make a decision on POV, but I can vote for Teen as no myth is that... scandilous in nature to be adult
The Midgard Serpent is a son of Loki, like Fenrir. Hel is Loki's daughter.
Midgardsormr is the middle child and youngest son of Loki and giantess Angrboda. He's a giant snake exiled from the realm of the gods (Asgard) and banished into the depths (seas) of the realm of Mortals (Midgard) because he was prophesied to poison the skies, land and seas of Asgard and kill the Thundergod, Thor. He is also the biggest out of the three children, said to be able to encircle Midgard from head to tail. He's still growing.
Its Norse mythology, my favorite Mythical Pantheon is Norse!
I choose Hela/Hel and Adult.
Better yet, I vote that a Not Rated option should be available!

Yes, and unfortunately, I can't write something unrated. They're Gods! They don't use drugs or have sex every day, unfortunately.
Actually Thor and several others tend to fuck quite often, aside from the drugs thing the unrelenting sex actually sounds about right for Norse Mythology :P
