Yes, the infamous unofficial fighter where any fighter can be pitted against pretty much anyone, with any music, with any background stage. I want to see what some of you think of MUGEN, so, fire away with your opinions.

Personally, I don't like the fact you can have like 1000 characters on there. I think a nice set of the ones you especially want (Mine only has 40 now, all chosen by me), and a handful of stages and music that fits those characters. But aside from that, I like it. The only thing is, I need help watering down a character's specials damage. I'm going to try and ask someone about that, see if they can help.

Anyhow, anyone else got an opinion on it? :P

Best 2 D fighter easily. Does what many comercial games do and much more. Dream matches are easy to make and you can find some of the coolest characters ever.

Yeah. You can even find naked character skins. I find that kind of dumb but ok.

Well, I have MUGEN, I will post some pics of it later on, I have made some of my own stages with some really good eye candy. :)

May I ask what is MUGEN? O.o;

MUGEN is a 2D fighting game where you can put in any custom made character, custom made stage, songs, even make a game out of it. The company though that designed it, Elecbyte, suddenly went without any explanation and people who already had hands on Mugen decided to release it and many 'mods' to it.

For me, it's a sweet thing. Although getting used to the controls is sometimes a bit awkward with a new character (Yeah, I'm trying Yoko from Gurren Lagann. I'm trying.), usually you can play it right from the offstart or make a dream battle between two characters.

Only now I realize the sprite of Apocalypse and Onslaught are the same, only with modifications, lol.

I thought they looked different. One being he takes up most of the screen and only his hand and face can be hit, and the other actually floats, a bit more smaller and you can hit all of him :/

But still, that's pretty much what Mugen looks like. The entire layout can be customized if you can find a screenpack, and characters/stages can be found all over the place. My layout is simply the Jojo's Bizzare Adventures PS1 game pack. But also, you can make your own story for any game (You don't have to create a game with it, you can just play it yourself for some fun) and also decide how many characters you fight in the Arcade Mode; allowing bosses/final bosses to be added too.

And also, you can add music to stages within the arcade mode. So, yeah, I like it xD I won't post my roster list though; I'll probably be criticized for having so little compared to the thousands possible.
