A movie was stated as '"Mature only, consist sex and violence". But if the movie got both sexual and violence, government will censor those sexual parts.

Example:
Censored girl kiss boy. But didn't censor head being chopped down and blood splashing.

Censored girl remove shirt and could see bra. But didn't censored spear pierced through chest and blood flying out.

I am wondering, what is the standard of 'violence and sex'?

If we can see how head flying around, why can't we see girl kiss boy?
Does this mean that government loves violence scences but hates making love scences?

How do they define 'violence and sexual scences'? How violence is really 'violence'?

in 300 movie, they never censored those bloody scences, but censored the kissing scences.

This is a big pet peev of mine. (sorry if I rant.)


I just don't understand what kind of culture we are growing up in.
I can watch television or a movie and see people getting killed or maimed whether they be: shot, hacked, beaten, tortured, blown up, burned, dismembered, decapitated, etc and the resulting blood and gore. On any given day one could probably see a hundred people "die" on television. Yet, to imply that a couple is having sex is deemed distasteful or perverted. (Let alone seeing someone naked.) Even the Discovery channel is now pixelating the natives on most of their documentaries.
A lot of this censorship has increased, over the past few years, mostly because of the "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl. Since then, the FCC has not only cracked down on TV, but radio as well. Most songs which conatin an occasional expletive that are played over the air (not including satellite radio) are either, edited or bleeped out entirely - which wasn't the case before this incident. (I know this is true because I listen to rock radio every day.) Radio stations have been threated with heavy fines if the do not comply.
I feel that our culture, especially the USA, is hung up on nudity and sex, way too much. There is such a double standard in that sex sells just about every product advertised, but when it comes to the act itself, which is as natural as water and air, some turn their eyes in disgusted or shame.

I don't know what Floramon's excuse is, but the United States was founded by Puritans, and that's why it's okay to show people getting their heads chopped off, as long as we never show a vagina.

This isn't much of a rant, but it wouldn't fit much better anywhere else, so I won't move it.

When we can see a girl's tongue skinned with cheese grader in extremely graphic detail but censor VAGINA, A NATURAL PART OF WOMAN'S BODY, then there's something really fucked up in the world. In fact, when I made my horror game (Dooms 2) a guy contacted me about how he had played the game with his little brother and how he had closed when there was detailed breast shot..... During human sacrifice. Let that sink into your head for a while. Somehow, scenes of humans being killed, tortured, necrophiles, chil killers, and people going insane (With an utmost use of the word) were all healthy for little child's mentality and perfectly fine for his surroundings. But showing a tit and pussy, that goes too far. A part of me always laughs at that thought. But also, I cry inside when I think that there's actually people who think like this. By the way, Dooms 4 has been recorded to make at least one human spontaously vomit. I have no idea what scene caused her such nauseism but I'd be darned if that's not my biggest achievement ever.

Edit: Aparantely, it was the credits of the game.

i dont get it either. KISSING was censored? or was that just an example? you mentioned that it was in the 300 movie.

They have games like that, but you won't find them at your local Best Buy.

I think we made them do that. I saw it on an anime and heard it a couple of times. You ever see some japanese TV late at night? Pretty weird.

They have tons of those in japan. It's a very weird place for anyone who hasn't been there for a good amount of time.

My point is...

Since the movie is rated as 'Muture and sex' only, why still censored those sex scenses? It's just a bra only, it's just a French Kiss only, it's just a dirty word 'fxxx' only. We are not matured enough to see these?
