Now I dont know how many football fans we have on this forum but this play is an old classic play that makes the defense looks absolutely stupid.

Boise State (Guys in White Jerseys, blue helmets) ran the Statue of Liberty play to perfection for the game winning 2-point conversion. Just watch the video and keep your eyes on the quarterback ^.^

I saw that play. That's not exactly a Statue of Liberty play. He just did a pump fake and handed it off with the other hand. On a Statue of Liberty play, the quarterback holds the ball up like he's about to pass (which is dangerous to do for more than a second), and the running back takes the ball from him. Now, that same play would not work nearly as well in the pro's. There's no way an entire professional defense would lose track of a running back like that. That's why it was such a high scoring game. Still, it was an awesome finish. I wonder how long that MVP's marriage is going to last.
Yeah but Bosie State said that they ran that play hundereds of times. As soon as the coach said Liberty every player on that offense had big grins on their faces because they new that play was certain.

There were two other plays by BSU that were awsome. The Hook and Ladder play and the WR Direct snap pass where the Quarterback went into motion.
I'm still rubbing it in my dad's face for going to sleep before the second half.

The RB sold it so well, that I would believe that it could have fooled the pros.

I'm just glad that BSU had the balls to go for two.

That was touching at the end, I hope it lasts a long time. When a dude has tears, you know there is some emotion in there!
Here is the Hook and Ladder play that led up to the 2 Pt Statue of Liberty play. I could watch this all day long hehe

Yes, amazing. I almost yelled "OH SHIT" when I saw it, but my parents were sleeping...

I think they were talking to a player, or the coach about how they practiced that play all the time, and how they always messed up. They said they just had faith, and it worked perfectly.

They already got rid of the other vid on youtube. They might get rid of this one.

You know they are calling this the greatest bowl game of the past century? It is at least in the top 3.
Yeah but I had it up there at number one though. Just because the game wasnt a National Title game and it was Boise State it didnt live up to the Texas vs USC game.
It would have been better if it was at home for BSU. I love that field. I'm just glad that I got to see it at all. I almost went to sleep at half-time, but was then all like "I'll just watch a bit more" and I was awed.
You want to talk about some amazing football? Did anybody see the Patriots vs. Chargers game today? Actually, the Bears and Seahawks were just as entertaining. Now that's football worth watching.
I agree the Chargers and Patriots game was a doozey!!! I was kind of rooting for both sides. I really want the Chargers to at least go to the Super Bowl. They always had the talent but they always seem to come up short in the close games.

As for the NFC game I didnt watch the rest of it. As soon as I saw Chicago throw a pick after a 1st down from a Seattle defensive penalty then the very first play from Seattle Hasselback throws a pick.
