I would have expected alot of more responses then just one.....-_-
I guess I have mixed news I need some techy help from those that can allievate my situation.
I am currently talking to you all from my labby, and I just reset my internet connection and I got it to work finally last evening around 11pm. Now this is the very strange occurance, my files still take the same space on my harddrive which means that they are still there, but they remain hidden...
I followed this method, went to tool< folder options< view< then view all hidden folders....
and that turned out to be a dud... I have my artwork and all my second chapter that I was working on and I was hoping to actually get things done with it when everything "hid" itself.
I can tell this because the harddrive still reads the same amount of space, which has happened to 15% of the people who have used the same method I used to help fix the corrupted registry....

To vellmont I say hiya as well....
The problem was a corrupted registry that prevents the Windows XP from starting up. thats what it is called.
"corrupted registry fix" if you search on google, it will appear. I just have one teeny-weeny problem and that the files and the rest of my harddrive seem to be missing and probably I cant use any of it. Thats my problem, I want to relocate the harddrive, which is weird cause its still there, but the files seem to have dissapeared. Maybe I overlooked something when I researched how to fix it for 13 days, you tell me.
Any help, would be gladly taken and observered with others to make the best possible way of locating the missing files....
