"That give me an idea," Shadow focused what little remained of his AP after his attack, "FROST!" He shouted out, the two spells collided and created a thundercloud that struck down a group of assassins.
OOC: Okay, since Shadow brought this up, then:
Addition: Combos.
Combos are made by two or more people by either using Magic or Skills. Shadow gave a nice example by using the Jolt Elemental Combo.
Combos are performed like this:
1. Character A casts a Spell/Uses Skill.
2. Character B EXACTLY afterwards casts a Spell that can relate with it.
3. Depending on how the Skills and Magic were connected, various effects can be granted. For example, I'll give you a basic list of combos:
Fire > Wind: Explosion Elemental Combo.
Wind > Water: Storm Elemental Combo (What Shadow did)
Water > Earth: Disaster Elemental Combo.
Earth > Fire: Magma Elemental Combo.
Depending on the LV of the Magic/Skill used in Phase 2, defines the strength of the spell. For instance, Frost is LV.1, so after the Wind Spell, it turns into Jolt.
There are also other combos, not only for attacking, for example:
Character A casts Might on Character C.
C's Power goes Up.
Character B immediatly casts Heal on another Target.
Target is Healed, and as a bonus, his or her Power is boosted thanks to the Combo.
Also, there are extra hit Combos. Like these ones:
Melee Skill/Magic (Any) > Melee Skill/Magic (Any other): Second Skill/Magic hits one more time than it's supposed to.
And finally, there are Dragon Combos, but we'll have to wait till we get the first Dragon.
IC:
Elliot frowned and comfronted the last row of hoodlums in the city after the others had decimated most of them. Since Lunos had cured his AP previously, he tried concentrating again, from the fround, fire erupted just as the Jolt had hit the others. The Flame Pillar hit the three hoodlums and dealt 2x Hits. Elliots AP was completely depleted once again. But as it seemed, there were no more Trickers, Assasins, Hoodlums or any other enemy left on the place.
OOC:
Party Won. Muah.
Assasins: 400 XP x6.
Trickers: 120 XP x5.
Hoodlums: 50 XP x4.
Two or three levels up for everyone, heh heh.
Zenny awarded: 400 Z for each character.
Gems x3 were dropped. Ammonia x2 was dropped. Healing Herbs x4 were dropped.
Catalina immediately stepped back a little "I'm not running, though!"
She fires her crossbow at the second bandit "Eat that!"
"Rah!! Cursed Kitsune!!!"
Second Bandit uses Stab on Catalina
"Damn you bandits!!"
Bruno uses Lvl 1 Earth Blast on 2nd Bandit taking him out
"I need..."
1st Bandit uses a Healing Herb curing him slightly
"Bloody..."
Takes Critical Hit from Bandit 2. Uses DemiFlare on 1st Bandit.
Bruno followed up with a critical slash finishin off the Bandit
Bandits x2: 100xp each
Loot: x2 Healing herbs, 300z each
Bruno turned back to Catalina "Catlina are you alright?" Then another bandit lunged at him from the rear but knocked him away with a backhand.
OOC: Catalina lvls up! ^_^ Learn new spell, Flame Shield.
Catalina nodded "I'm fine..AH!" She pushes Bruno out the way of an attacking bandit.
Bandit misses Bruno "Stay still, dammit!" Uses Mug on Catalina.
Catalina dodges "Hell, no!"
OOC: Bruno lvls up learns new spell Shield (Reduces party's dmg taken)
IC:
"Okay this area is cleared, lets go help other people that might need our help....damn bandits!!" Bruno then saw a boy in the middle of the street "Whats he doing out here? He could get hurt!" he ran towards the boy.
OOC: Lunos up by two levels then, DMX, I guess. But I think I'll wait two to four more levels before letting him learn another magic. Oh, and 10% more HP for him. ^_^
IC:
Lunos took a very deep sigh, and panted quietly as he held onto his staff. "Is.. tha' all of th'm now, Elliot?" He asked quietly, flapping his wings once.
Catalina casts Flame Shield on herself "Get through that!"
Bandit attacks and takes damage from Flame Shield "Gah!"
She fires her crossbow, killing Bandit.
"Wait for me!" Catalina chased after Bruno.
