I have a story sketched out in my head for the August contest which ends on Sunday(?). IMHO, it's even a rather good story, and I intend to write it to completion whether or not I make deadline. However, I can't think of a lemon bit. Despite the characters quite definitely loving each other, I can't think of how to make them have sex. Damn.

Basically, the two leads goes out for a holiday (the kind you have off from work, not the kind you drive out to the country for) and gets into some dramatic stuff. This results in one of them evolving up a level. It's very emotional to both people, w00t, w00t. They love each other, but have not previously engaged in mating behaviors. Why? They're partners in post-02 utopia land.

From somewhere here needs to come a lemon bit so I can write "And they celebrated and lived happily ever after..." at the end Wink.

Anyone who wants to flame the entire idea, fuck off. Everyone else, I welcome your input.
How about, having gone up a step in their relationship, one of them feels they should do something special for their partner, and sets up something romantic which leads to sex. That's how I do it.
Erm... I am an ameture at this but... I do have an idea... I think...

You could have one or both of them having a powerful urge to do something... Something neither understands. You know what comes after that sorta thing...

Female character - What's that?
Male character - *notices hard on*

Not the greatest idea, I know. But it's something...
Make them have a sparring, to see the new evolving level. However, the sparring kind of turns into more like friendly wrestling and then to passionate moment where they both look deep into each others eyes.... The moment being theirs.... And then the other one lands a sucker punch.

Or something like that.
Dream sequence. Then afterwards one asks something embarrassing and the other covers up and avoids it.
I suggest a meteorological phenomenon.
I suggest a catalyst that would make one character react to help both him and his significant other, then in her reaction, an token of love.
Assuming this were to be finished by Sunday, I think the judges who have posted ideas here would prove to be biased should you use any of theirs. Therefore, I will propose one while also proposing that you NOT use it, but keep it in mind for a future story, or if this ends up not being in the contest...

To mate is a biological urge. Assuming digimon are digital biology, they will have this urge in an appropriate digital fashion. Assuming that they are possessed of two genders, this fashion will most likely be sexual. Therefore, virginal or not, they should have the instinctive knowledge of how to "do it like they do on the Discovery Channel." Therefore I would propose having a rough, wild and physically passionate lovemaking sequence in which their matings instincts are unleashed. Perhaps their instincts are piqued by something the digital equivalent of sunspots or a freak tornado, or even by solar flares. Triple points if you can say that the instincts are awakened by this phenomenon but are only executed in a dream.

I questiont his, though: "They love each other, but have not previously engaged in mating behaviors. Why? They're partners in post-02 utopia land." Of course, I'm just more intereted in what that means than anything else... are they both humn partners to digimon? Digimon partners to humans? a human and their digimon partner? A human and another's digimon partner? In any case, though... why would being in "post-02 utopia land" prevent them from engaging in instinctive activities? Unless sex was made useless in "utopia land", there doesn't seem any reason...
Human + Digimon. "Utopia land" is the slightly wierd fantasy that constituted the "25 Years Later" bit aired at the end of 02's final episode. You know, world peace and everyone has a DIgimon. People move freely between worlds. That bit.

I can say I'm not using Marine's idea. I'm sorry, but the trading of sexual favors completely breaks my literary theme this time.

Yes, there is a literary theme. In this case, it mostly means songfic.
Quote:"do it like they do on the Discovery Channel."
The Bloodhound Gang? I thought you were classier than that.

Okay, I'm totally getting my expectations up for this story.

Again, I like this idea, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. The way I see it, in Utopia, people (or Digimon) have sex whenever they feel the urge, and they never have to worry about diseases or unwanted births, because nothing bad can possibly happen.
