my lil brother is so stupid and shallow and he really pisses me off at times.
he just...he irritates me because sometimes hes so selfish and unappreciative. he s never happy.he can have everything and finds a reason not to be happy.
sometimes im ashamed of him because i sort of helped to raise him so im like his second mother and well, when he acts that way, it upsets me cause i know i didnt raise him to act that way.At times he acts like a spoiled selfish little brat and I hate it cause he hurts others by doing that. Like if he wants to eat something and my moms cooking something else he wont really eat what she cooks and will end up throwing most of it out and it pisses me off.Cause here she is, coming from work tired as hell, just to spend her time cooking and then he doesnt wanna eat it and i know it makes her feel bad.I hate that!!And I yell at him sometimes calling him selfish and then he talks back to me and disrespects me.It makes me feel like taking him to an orphanage and just leaving him there cause me and my parents are always telling him how ppl would kill to have his food and he doesnt care. K I'm sorry , he justs get under my skin sometimes.

Well, he's 9 but still, he's gonna be a preteen soon so, he needs to start growing up and learning that he cant be selfish like that, especially when it makes our mom feel bad.

As for your brother, have you tried Inverse Psychology? When he says: "I don't want to eat that." then tell him, "Then don't, otherwise, cook for yourself."
My mother raised me in that way, but I was no fool unfortunately, and actually ended in cooking for myself, and till today, I still do.
Don't worry if he says he'll starve to death, he will come crawling to both your mom and you begging for food eventually.
Another thing to do, is talk over with your mother and convince her to make him learn how to cook what he likes, so he also gets to help you in your house so when your mom comes back, she won't have much to do and she'll be able to rest a bit.

well once he gets the plan, and knows how to cook then he'll be eating what ever he finds, hell he might even be eating tonights dinner and tommarows breakfast in a matter of days if not weeks once he knows how to cook.

Ahh the joys of being an annoying little brother. I'm surprised my sisters didn't kill me when I was younger. Don't worry too much, it is annoying but he'll grow out of it soon. And if he doesn't, see to it that he doesn't see a tenth birthday
