Gunter's been yakking about this moronic crusade of his since two weks ago- about "saving the stray and abused dogs of romania"-
HE'S CRAZED I TELL YOU! CRAZED!
The right now, we've got about fourteen freakin' strays running all over the place, he left earlier saying he's coming back with more- damn IT STINKS LIKE HELL- if they're not running around the spacy grassy area outside, theyre either shitting in front of me- peeing- or mating indoors if they arent doing it outdoors!!! I can't eat witout losing my appetite- then Gunter just goes around the place, cleaning it up- he claims he'll get them big kennels or cagrs or something- and the barking- the stupid barking- do they ever STOP!?
They also snarl, bark, howl, bark, whine, bark- all over the place! I've been bit three times already (no bleeders) and still he goes around for a couple of hours, returning with a mutt or five-
I can't stand it! it's like trying to sleep in the middle of the 4th of july or new year-
even worse- Raynard and Raymond encourages him- they even help him with the bitches-
I try to question him, Raynard snaps at me, then he answers: "I'm only keeping them till I find better homes for them."
Son of a- Ive heard he even raided a bunch of pounds- we've even got several cats (sepparated luckily by a stone barrier) a bunch of parakeets- rabbiits, turtles... it's like a freakin zoo- he's planning on bulding sections for each of them- then he's gonna' sell them at only 15% of what they're worth...
Can somebody- tell me- that I am not the only one who opposes his "Noble Crusade"- PM him or me or something- PLEASE!
Well done to Gunther's charity. I would not recommend raiding pounds, though. And I'd get a vet 'round at some point. And some staff. That many dogs is not something one or two people can handle alone.
(Crap- not another one!)
For the last time, VEL, I am merely sheltering them from the elements- and I've only mannaged to collect NINE dogs so far. FOUR cats, and ONE rabbit.
There is only ONE turtle, and Blitz bought it for himself to play with, we DON'T HAVE parakeets- those are the birds outside.
And I do not RAID pounds, I Visit pound-to-pound, BUYING, or in this case, LIBERATING or even SAVING the ones who are scheduled to be DESTROYED-SLASH-PUT TO SLEEP.

Seriously Vel, get off my back.

As heartless as this sounds, there's no real harm in letting them die. They're strays: Nobody knows them, and they were created by random acts of breeding. Dogs will always breed more, especially if you group them together like that. :!: The first thing you should do is spay or neuter them. You'll be doing the world a favor.
Please do that. It'd be cruel not to.
sigh...
I guess you're right-
but after all I've done- feeding them and nursing them to health... I guess it's all for nothing-
But most of these dogs have breeds- what about those?
I don't know if I have the heart to just let them die- what do I do? stop feeding them and let them starve to death?
should I give them back to the pound to be.... put to sleep?
-and I separate the males from the females anyway- Vel's LYING.

I'm hoping that's sarcasm.

First off spaying and neutering (or seperating) is a must, otherwise you'll just be adding to the problem by creating more dogs. Second, and this is coming from an animal lover, it might be for the better to have some put down, if they're older no one will want them and caring for them would be a hassle for even four people (Vel, Raynard, Raymond, You. Yep that's four. I think.) If you do have them fixed they're more likely to be adopted since people will think, "Now I don't have to pay for it." as for the rabbit, you might wanna just let it go, they're built for snowy weather (I think that's what you said the climate is up there.) and would do alot better off free than in captivity if they're back to full health. Turtles are some of the easiest animals to care for so that shouldn't be a problem. The cats, let me just say, from experience, GET THEM FIXED ASAP (As Soon As Possible) those things breed like crazy, they put rabbits to shame, and it is possible for them to get pregnant TWICE (if it's already pregnant it can get pregnant again and have an even larger litter). that's my advice and in closing I just have to say: If you really have that many animals at your place I wouldn't call it a zoo, I'd call it a brothelo, or something, for animals.
okay, I know what I have to do-
with a heavy heart, I'm going to have the older ones and the one's with no chance/long period of recovery put down....

the cats are okay- so far, theyre all females (I'll have to give them away for free- after having them neutered of course.)

the rabbit, Monty-boy fell in love with it, and call's it "Velm Jr."- so I guess he can keep it.

okay, that takes... *wheeze* care of three of the dogs, six of them are young, healthy, and have breeds- I can get them a vaccination and anti-rabies shots (and if need be, neutered or spayed- unless there are a bunch of freakish zoophiles that want them)- then I can give them away after a good grooming. hopefully some good people will take 'em in.

Sigh, I've grown too attached to them though... maybe I'll keep my favourite- a young husky male I named "Balto" for Charlie's companion.

better?
If you can, find out the breeds. That'll help and could possibly sell them.
yeah, I know the breeds, there's a female akita, akita shepherd to be specific.
there's a male and female akita-inu, or so I've checked.
a male belgian shepherd groenendael- (the black kind)
The last two are mixed breeds, they look great though- the first one, Im thinking- doberman pinscher and rottweiler-
the other I think labrador/retriever/pointer/??? mix- looks somewhat... cool, and very friendly-
the cats are the least of my problems.
I'm taking the three to be put down later today.
