I'll be the first one writing on this frontier, like I was the first one writing seriously on the other Frontier. The following is a letter that I emailed to the head of the mechanical engineering department this morning. I guess it's not exactly fiction, but it's still entertaining.

Dear Dr. Wood,

I was a student in Dr. Kevin Murphy
Hope that guy gets what's coming to him.

BTW, if they ever make you use C++ again you can just ask your questions here. It's pretty easy to tell someone how the language works without answering their particular problem.

I've got one more semester, and then I'm graduating. If, in that semester, they make me use C++ again (after going nine semesters without using it) I'm going on a shooting spree. Twisted
I've had my fair share of annoying teachers too. If a teacher ever makes a mistake anywhere NEVER EVER CORRECT THEM I corrected a teacher when he made a spelling mistake (he spelled aguaduct with a K) and he sent me to the dean for as he said "Causing a disturbance in the middle of class." some people just shouldn't be allowed to teach.
Im going to have to move this to general chat, seeing as it's more along the lines of being in there.
Wisemon you are right, you worked very hard to receieve good qualifications, that guy sure doesn't know how to teach.
At the end of this year we had a teacher for Human Rights that never ever taught us anything, she just sat down and told us to do work, never explaing a thing, my grades and 3/4 of the class were the lowest.
I passed the last exam by working really hard, we even tried to go to the principal's office to discuss this with almost half of the class, but they didn't hear a thing. I agree with him: Teacher's are our enemies.

Still, there are lots of techer's I had that really were good at teaching us.

Quote:NEVER EVER CORRECT THEM

Believe it or not, I had a teacher in chemistry that in fact wanted us to correct him if he made mistakes, he even praised us when we did. :)
Hm, that's a good sign of a good teacher. I do find it a bit of a pity... the teachers who really know what they teaching it, but they really can't teach it to those who don't know.... or can't teach at all. One teacher gave us some questions that wasn't covered in anything he said was required. It was a basic Government course and the tests were mulitple choice, so it wasn't that bad.
Aha, and we also had a very nice teacher, in Physics, even though we all got low grades, he always help us and never complained.
He even talked with us about our problems.
Maybe I was wrong, some are good, but when they are enemies, they're the worst!
The teacher I had to deal with wasn't friendly he hated the fact that I was smarter than him so he made my life a living heck.
That reminds me of a movie...
Maybe we're all fated to live being bothered by overpowered adults...
