...too bad the system dosen't come out for two more weeks.

Anyway, I picked up Kameo: Elements of Power at my local Gamestop, turns out they'll have most of the launch titles and accessories in stores, and therefore on sale, starting mostly next week. So I'm going to be calling to find out when I can get Dead or Alive 4 and my extra controllers, so I have it all for when the system rolls out.

I'm really excited about it, me and my friend are going to get the system at a 24 hour store and play it all night, ahhh good times.
This doesn't belong in digimon chat. Can someone move this?
Yeah please, my bad.

Thought I was posting it in General.
and now I have my first X360 wireless controller.
...But do you have your first X360?
How much are those things priced at?

From what I've heard, there are two versions of it. One is a bare-bones version with non of any of the good features, which will be the cheaper of the two, I think it's priced at about $199 or something.

Then there's the fully-loaded version, which comes with EVERYTHING. A wireless fantasia, so to speak, and that one will be setting you back at $400.

A brilliant marketing tactic, I have to admit. Filthy, wretched and sadistic, but brilliant. If I weren't a bigger fan of Sony, I'd probably be compelled to pre-order the fully loaded version instead of waiting for PS3 to come out so I can waste an entire couple paychecks on it and be broke for a few pay periods.
Or you can NOT buy the X-Box 360 in any Way, Shape or Form because it is PURE EVIL.

Death to M$!

No I don't have it, it comes out next week. But I think it's pretty cool that I've already picked up most of the stuff I want for it and won't have to deal with it later.

There are two verisons:

XBox 360 - Which is the loaded version. Has the console, 20 gb hard drive, a headset, wireless controller, media remote, and HD cables. $399.99 (Of course I'm buying this one)

XBox 360 Core Pack - The watered down version. Comes with AV cables and Wired controller. $299.99

The problem is, as always, they are going to have very few availible. I guess most stores are getting 50 or less units, which isn't a lot. Further more that number includes both types of systems so who knows how it will be divided.

I'm hitting up a Wal-Mart that's 24 hours and I'm going to be in line for about 7-8 hours or so, I'm just going to go there after work, and hopefully start the line. It's not in a real large city, and I figure most people will be other places like GameStop, as opposed to Wal-Mart. But I guess even the people who pre-ordered it from GameStop will have a hard time getting it on Launch Day.

If X-Box 360 is evil, then bring on the dark side.
By my understanding it appears that you didn't preorder the system. If you really want it so much then why didn't you do so? I put $50 down for mine back on 07/07/05, still have the reciept too. It should be great. Although I am upset that the game I want the most, Dead Rising where you play as a photographer in a mall overrun by zombies isn't coming out until next year. Damn.
