I just got three poems published in an online literary journal. If you want to see the whole magazine (.PDF), you have to join the Yahoo group. If you just want to see my poems, click on "Spotlight 2." That's right, I'm not just any author; I'm a spotlight author.
"First Step Press honors two writers in each issue of Stepping Stones Magazine called in the spotlight... These writers receive this honor for presenting a body of work that has impressed the editorial staff. While every manuscript appearing in Stepping Stones Magazine is of the highest quality, two represent our finest work for that issue. We are pleased to display their talents in not only the pages of Stepping Stones Magazine, but also here in the spotlight 1 and spotlight 2 sections of the website."

Extremely interesting language, especially in the second and third poems where you keep anthropomorphizing natural or social things.

Now how about a poem that isn't about lacking a girlfriend?
That's pretty cool, Wise. But now from the other side (kinda) I can tell my own experience. The divinity of love's name, Eros, means 'bittersweet'. Yeah, it's good to have someone, but it's not paradise. You suffer, you struggle, you doubt, you fear. Together with having somebody (that in my case, I can enjoy only some of its benefits), you get a shadow that's equally powerful than the good things. You can expect some things of love, you can't expect everything of love. The other person is not perfect, has plenty of weaknesses just like you. So when the first impact fades, many see the person like it is, and not how they've dreamed it. So then it's how they go away.
So people shouldn't think of love as paradise. Just now, you can see how my someone's missing, without me knowing what had happened and unable to guess. Together with the good moments come bitter moments like these.
Also think I'm older than you and we're both alike, so maybe you'll have to wait more to find sb...*sigh*........
.........anyway, congratulations. Nice poems.
