Damn I'm sick. Physically that is, I've got a cold or something.

I manage to go to work, we get our asses kicked for a few hours and then we calm down one guy goes home, and the other guy working knows I'm sick, sits around for about 45 minutes, while we have plenty of work to do. He wasted all that time while I'm busting my ass and nobody gives a damn. This shit is so annoying. Luckily one of the other guys who worked the next shift showed up early and said I could go.

I guess there is just no working with some people.

Don't you get sick pay?

No, I work per hour, so if I miss, I get no money.

That sucks! I'm sure there's a law that requires bosses to pay people on sick leave over here...

Yeah, well some jobs have that, hourly jobs don't.

If you're full-time, you do get some paid vacation days that can double as sick days, don't you?

Yeah, but I'm not full time because I go to school full time too.
