Here comes another review that Amazon wishes they had. I've had Disturbed's new album, "Ten Thousand Fists," for a few weeks now, and I'm ready to review it. I'll start with this; in 2005, Disturbed has done what Audioslave and Foo Fighters could not do: they have topped their previous albums.

1. "Ten Thousand Fists" 10/10, Great energetic opener.
2. "Just Stop" 8/10, Brought down by odd lyrics, but otherwise good.
3. "Guarded" 9/10, The free track, good, like a harder "Remember."
4. "Deify" 10/10, A song about Bush, and it ain't complimentary.
5. "Stricken" 9/10, The first single, a lot like "Prayer."
6. "I'm Alive" 10/10, My personal favorite; it has amazing flow.
7. "Son of a Plunder" 9/10, Sounds like something from the first album.
8. "Overburdened" 8/10, A little on the slow side, but good after a while.
9. "Decadence" 8/10, A little too generic.
10. "Forgiven" 9/10, Catchy, a little too catchy.
11. "Land of Confusion" 9/10, Something different, a Genesis cover.
12. "Sacred Life" 9/10, "The war is far from over."
13. "Pain Redefined" 10/10, This one kicks ass.
14. "Avarice" 8/10, What's an Avarice?
Gee, is this one of your more higher rated CD's?

Let me put it this way: I own about 300 CD's. "Ten Thousand Fists" would probably rank in the top 50.

Actually, let me put it another way: Unless Jerry Cantrell, Shinedown, or A.F.I. put out a new CD before the end of the year (all possibilities, but unlikely), I would call this the best CD of 2005, not counting The Offspring's "Greatest Hits."
Yeah I heard about this awhile ago. Another board I go to, the webmaster talked about it. It sounds good.
And avarice means Immoderate desire for wealth. I looked it up.
Yeah, and it is pretty obvious why Offsprings Greatist Hits Cd is good.
Yeah hat's one of the two cds I'd actually buy off the TV.
