I found out this somewhat disturbing news while searching for info on a game I just bought. I go to a site called gamespot, not to be confused with gamestop which is a retail video game chain. This site deals with games but doesn't sell them, instead they present resources for game such as movie interviews, previews, etc. I saw something in the related news category of the game I was looking for and it had to do with a rumor about ''9/11 The Game'' I clicked on it eventually getting to this page; http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/sur...index.html

Not much is said about it since its in the early stages of development but from what I can tell it's a game where you relive past disasters such as the sinking of the Titanic, devastating earthquakes and no doubt the 9/11 attacks. Click on the news tab to get to the menu which will display the article I read. First off let me say that I am insulted by this game dubbed Survivor. I can only imagine how graphic it will be or how detailed it will deal with such events. It's a complete insult to those who lost their lives to such horrific periods in history.

Like with 9/11, what are they going to do? Put you on Windows on the World which was above the impact zone in the North Tower and see how you spend your last 102 minutes of your life? Or how about with Titanic placing you as a passenger in steerage where the crew locked the gates keeping you below deck to most likely freeze from the water or drown? I wish there was a way I can boycott this game or something. Does anyone else feel the same way I do?
I think drawing attention to it will just help its sales.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they're get protested out of business. (one of the worst ideas ever)
SomethingAwful covered this a year or two ago I believe. I don't remember the link but you can probably find it if you look harder than I did.

The review-or-whatever was more or less along the lines of "lol wtf" and "lol bad graphics"
Sounds like a standard SA review.
