Behold the rating E 10! Right now I don't care too much, but maybe I should. Things are probably gonna get worse and games will be more pathetic so it can reach the "proper" age range. As of right now, I don't think its too bad, but I doubt it is a step in the right direction. And I think, in the long run, it may be hard for them to define "minimal suggestive themes." I don't mind having ratings and small description, but I'm just worried how strict these things will be forced when the parents complain hard enough.
Why does it matter? It's just another buffer against sue-happy parents.
oh well as long as no one whines about the games it's fine with me.
The issue is that some stores actually make policy based on those ratings. In some places you need to be 13 to buy a T-rated game and 18 to buy an M-rated game. So it matters if the people have one more excuse to restrict people's game-buying abilities.
