I have been trying to change my username, but something just isn't happening.
I have:
Tried putting in a different name and clicking submit
Entered password in all three fields /w name and submitted
All of the above /w reset (dumbass move)

all this with my e-mail in the field.

I'm going crazy!

Don't enter anything in the password fields; that's only if you want to change your password or email. Leave everything else, namely the email, the same, and it should work, unless you've already done irreparable damage.

tested, and yup. go to profile, type in the new name, click submit and it should be done.

proof is my name, I let it changed for a bit....

Yep, it works. I'll switch back pretty soon.
