Obviously, this kind of thing isn't something we're given by 'canon' digimon material. In fact, if you do following canon digimon material in that regard, then they don't have anything at all. Obviously, I can't believe that. :P

So, ultimately...it's up to the individual writer.

strange concept because renamon does actually look like she's(no gender i know but still) female

I can't really see why they needed to put that line in there. If their intention was to draw attention away from digimon and sex, they failed miserably, because that's the first thing that popped into my mind. ;) And Renamon was probably *not* the one to say that line, because that's who *everyone* wants to have sex with from Season 3.

I like to think that she said it because she didn't want to go shopping with Ruki's mom.

That just might be the case! *sly grin* Or she may genuinely not know...

What, not know if she has gender? I think you'd kind of run across that fact at some point at your life, digimon or not.

Ah but think of it. I believe that Renamon was only created when Rika swiped her Blue card. *grin* She wouldn't have time to think of such things.

Even if that were true...

It's not like they were battling every moment of their waking lives. You'd think Renamon would sit down one day and be like..."Damn it...what is that for?"
