neat! that banner is pretty cool...

about those subs erm .. they are generaly done in yellow without any form of layerstyles or anything on them as their not supposed to draw any attention just merely erm .. add something to the show ... as far as I have seen a slightly smaller slightly yellow (ariel) font ought to do it you dont notice if you dont want to use subs yet its there when needed ... anyway thats my oppinion on it
