What's yours?

Now I know a lot of people would say Digimon as a knee-jerk reaction partly due to where we are but I don't really think of it as cancelled so much as discontinued, if you catch my meaning. (And before anyone says anything about X Evolution I'd like to point out that we're not entirely sure exactly how that's gonna pan out yet.)

By cancelled I mean something that was abruptly ended in the middle of a plot point resulting in a lot of frothing at the mouth and gnashing of teeth from fans.

For me it's as far as live action things go it was Farscape which aired on the Sci-Fi channel here in the states. Sci-Fi hailed it as their "Signature Series" and then shuffled around it's time slot a bunch of times and then blamed it for it's waning ratings. What the hell did they expect when the fans couldn't find the show as easily?! Well in order to shut the holes of the more rabid among the fandom they finally decided to do a mini-series that would wrap up the season five cliffhanger (They'd already purchased the show through to season 7) but that's still no replacement for another season... Oh well at least we'll get some closure.

As far as animated things go it'd definitely be Reboot Now I have no idea weather or not they’re (Mainframe) still working on it slowly or the show’s bit the dust but I would have loved to at least seen the end of the “Megabyte Returns” story arc.

Damn network and/or production company business politics.
Farscape
Married with Children
Crusade
Star Trek (Oringal)
Tom & Jerry
The Flash

Thats all I got for now.
My favorite terminated show was The Real Ghostbusters, but each episode was individual, so it wasn't in the middle of a series. Of the shows that were ixnayed abruptly, my favorite was the anime version of The Real Ghostbusters, also known as Yu Yu Hakusho. I think it's still getting some air in Japan, but that doesn't help me. I know the DVD's are available, but I'm kind of cheap. Besides, it's the principle of the thing.
what about John Doe? was that cancelled or something? i got really into the plot and then channel 3(the local channel) as well as fox stopped playing them!
Boston Public. Yes, that high school went through more astounding events and drama in one episode than my high school ever did in a year, but darn it if it didn't both entertain AND challenge me. How many major network primetime shows do that??
At the time of it's cancellation the shcool was having a televised debate on affirmative action that DIDN'T portray those opposed to it as racist bigots, and Vice-Principal Guber was debating over whether his new girlfriend, an ex-porn star, is an appropriate academic tutor since some students recognized her from her vidoes.
Married With Children (I haven't heard of this show in a LOOOONG time)
Family Guy (coming back next year, I know)
Teknoman
The Drew Carey Show (not sure if this was cancelled or not)

There are probably others that I can't remember though.
No, Drew Carey is still on. It's just doing a weird thing where all it's new episodes are on during the summer. It's on ABC Wednesdays, although Mr. Wick and Steve are gone now.
reboot definetly and was the tick cancelled? (both of them) earthworm jim of course and the new he-man cartoon I think that's all
what about cybersix...i saw that show on teletoon almost everyday, then they stopped playing it, but i've seen it on now, but it's just repeating the same episodes over and over again, they left it at a cliffhanger too... where cybersix was in this explosion and her enemy Jose survived.
meh I didn't watch that fox kids had a lot of hit and miss shows back then oh yeah I also liked angry beavers, eek the cat/terrible tunderlizards and, the sniz and fondue part of kablam that was the best
