For almost two months now, there's been this annoying malady on my computer where the homepage regularly changes to some fucking site called webcoolsearch.com and my favorites menu gets filled up with all this porno paysites. I've tried to change it back to my regular homepage and delete the paysite bookmarks, but it just reverts to webcoolsearch a few hours later and refills the favorites menu, and It's gotten worse now because the webcoolsearch server is down, so now it reverts to bestoftheweb.com! I figure that some porn site did this to me, and I've tried removing all the cookies and clearing the web cache, but it still reverts. Anybody know how to get rid of this?!
go to Downloads.com and look up AdAware. its a program that scans your hard drive and picks out all the spyware and stuff like that. it really works well, I have it on mine.
