Yeah, kinda new here and all but a veteran fanfic reader and critic person. Don't kill me for having an opinion. Anyway, I am not here to critic stories since I would rather just enjoy a masturbation session, but I am going to say something about the format of the web-page.
Nice design, by the way, a little slow but for a site like this I would expect high traffic flow. My main concern is how the lemons are organized. True it is helpful to know who the author is, but making it so that each author has their own little section you HAVE to visit in order to read a lemon is rather inconvenient. It makes it so you have to know a little bit about the authors writting before you try and read anything from them. Personally I would rather have it so the stories are either in alphebetical order or grouped in common pairings that way it would make it easier to sort through the stories and find one I would want to read.
Of course the authors name would be right next to the story and a link to their own little section. I find this set-up a lot more convenient because you can read exactly what you are looking for instead of going through an extra link just to find out there is nothing there you want to read.

That would ne a nice idea. 2 links: one to current by author format, and another link to by titles page.
I'm not sure if many people would use it though, most generally read by the author at a time.
Nice idea, but consider this: Reorganizing the lemons like that would take SHITLOADS of work. Believe me, I know, cause I've been in charge of tons of websites that were only half as large as the DaD lemon section alone, and they ate up just about all of my free time. Are you aware that there are over 1100 lemons here, written by what I'm guessing are over a hundred authors? Also, the work wouldn't end with setting up the new layout; you would also have to update it PLUS update the personal sections of the authors concerned with every wave of new lemons. Now, somehow I doubt that's going to happen... And even if it did, there would be fewer updates and they would take longer. And we really don't want that, do we!
No, if anything what this site needs is a search engine. You know, if you want to read a yuri lemon, you enter "Yuri" and it lists all yuri lemons. Or if you want to read a lemon with Gatomon in it, you enter "Gatomon".
(As it happens, I'm working on a little JavaScript program that does exactly that. It won't make an appearance here cause it's been refused ages ago, but I'm working on it for my own private use whenever I've got time, so I can find exactly the stories I want to read. But it's probably still gonna take a couple of weeks to months to complete, because I don't have alot of time and I managed to accidentally delete one file with about half of the story codes in it just the other day... meh...)

In an perfect world, we would organize all the lemons (quick, rough count is 1630) in a database, so a reader could just select the couple/fetish/author/character he likes and WHAM gets his selection.
In an perfect world, I would be paid to design and maintain such a system. Also, I would have no other duties, and nobody would rush me.
Now, my basic problem is that I'm not living in a perfect world.
I'm a student of a German university, I'm a lemon writer, and I have a life. I'm not being paid one EuroCent to help Togashi out (and Togashi isn't exactly making money with this site, neither). I'm just sacrificing what little time I have (actually I have none, but I do it anyway) to work on the site.
All the suggestions (sorting authors by X, sorting lemons by Y, adding these fetish tags, including that feature) usually require one of these things:
- A complete re-structuring of the entire site
- A VERY tricky scripting backbone
- ChibiRena reading and relabeling 1630 lemons without losing his mind
So... no. Suggestions noted, though. I've heard a lot of neat suggestions so far, and I keep them in mind.
The suggestion of a search engine is still high up on my list, and I might have found a nice way to solve it.
And I'm surprised... the new design should load a bit faster than the old one since the pages take up less space now...
