I think it's a wonder that our generation didn't grow up to have a huge slime fetish, considering how much of it got dumped on kids on the Nickelodeon channel.

Well...speaking of slime, there is actaully something along the line of it that I remember seeing. Turns out there's actually a fetish for people who get stuck to stuff. Wheather their feet are superglued to the floor, or their trapped in a spider's web, or the entire room is filled with a sticky ooze, ect. So there is acually one form of it.
Also, other than that, there are some weirder ones as well. People having sex beneath the water (scuba gear is used), seeing women who are incredibly thin (to the point where they look like a living skeleton), there was a sock fetish, and not to forget to mention the one that had to do with people in arm/leg casts. Yes, there is a lot of weird stuff out there.
I have a theory, that no matter how utterly out there and unorthadox a fetish is, at least 10 people will have it worldwide. If there's a fetish that involves shooting yourself in the foot with a shotgun while masturbating, ten people will have it. Just a theory of course, testing is still under way to prove it...
And I think the argument of how you're born with it could be true. A lot of people say you're boy gay, so I suppose you could be born with certain implanted fetishes.
It's probably a mix of both heredity and evironment. I guess a fetish could be viewed a lot like a standard behavior, as in it's shaped by both inner conflicts and outer influences. Who knows?

Yea id have to agree that fetishes came from previous experinces in the past. Something that excited you or thrilled you. By the looks of that list everyone thats normal and not normal have fetishes. One thing i question is the problem i have though is i constantly change my fetishes. Is that a fetish?

I think fetish is what sticks with you for life or until a headshrinker cures you. If your interests varied, it could be just passing interest and not a true fetish.
