I'll answer your questions in a bit, Freddy! *glomps*

And that's kinda it, I'm terrible at FAQs. XD Especially if there are no frequently asked questions! I'll try to answer what I can when I think about it.

Well, I have no idea what you're talking about, so I would really appreciate it if you elaborated on the quoted article, thanks! Explain what that is, and I'll say if it's possible or not, along with my wall of text answers for Freddy, as well as some inventory peeks at what kinda shops and services are available.
Well, the book is "The Pillars of Creation" by Terry Goodkind, the seventh in his series.
Here i's a link to the details of the "pristinely ungifted":
http://sot.wikia.com/wiki/Pristinely_ungifted
I know the specifics of how it comes into being couldn't possibly be used, but the general idea may be sound...
Oh, and as it may help, additive = create/change; subtractive = destroy/"power of underworld"
Well, as far as any more questions, most of the ones we been asking are your suggestions, and you still need to post about the archive dystopia thing. XP
I hope I'm not to late to sign up for this, here is my character.

Name: Airrin
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Title: The Runaway Apprentice (Because her master has a bounty on her to bring her back to him.) The Librarian (Which is knowon
only by those who truly know who she is)
Age: 15
Appearance: She weighs 65 lb height is 52 inches, basicly she looks like a twelve year old, She currently has red hair and
brown eyes, but will change them to better hide. She wears a white shirt and brown pants with a gray traveling cloak.
Has a large scar going through her stigma on her right hand.
Brand: Two X's connected on her right hand. A replica of a barcode on her left shoulder.(She done this one by herself)
Affiliation: Legendarius
Classification: Hybrid Classes:Invoker, Symbologist and summoner
Rank: Apprentice
Type: Player Character
Sexuality: Bi
Past Relationships: She never has been in a romantic relationship. She once had a twin sister who died early on in the expermint that was done on them.
She was close to a archive soldier(she called him sky because of his eyes) who died helping her to escape from her master, when she was 12.
A summoner called Amy she befriend during her early days of freedom, who died protecting her from her masters rivals.
She hates her former master, but she hates Kevin and Claire even more, these two are part of the group who did the experiments on her
along with her master.
Turn Ons: She is willing to try almost anything once or twice with the one she trusts.
Turn Offs: Scat, necrophilia, and guro.

Abilities: With the knowledge of a symbologist she is able to lay traps for her enemies, put up barriers to protect herself
and the companions she sometimes travels with, but she excels with enhancing herself and others. But the drawback with the knowledge
is that she needs a much longer time to prepare, making her abilities other than enhancing the body only suitable for ambushing and
preparing escape routes. Her knowledge as a invoker centers around pyromance and illusions, casting any spell except for the basics
will tire her out faster than it would those's who have much more experiance than her in those spells along with other penalties to
the spells she cast with the advance spells having the highest penalties. As she puts the knowledge she has into practice the penalties
and the energy necessary to cast the spells decrease. As a summoner she has two pact she has made so far. The first being with a fairy
she uses to spy and retrieve small things like keys. The second is with a water elemental, which can cast some healing spells
and has some offensive type spells. Since she currently only has two contracts, she hasn't tattoo any on herself yet. She knows how to
use daggers to defend herself, she only uses them if her enemies get too close to her.

Other: She prefers loose clothing but wears skintight clothes the reason because of the many times she almost got caught
because of her clothes getting snag on something. Her, her twin, and 75 others were part of a experiment that was ment to
give one the knowledge, experiance of several other Magicians and knowledge from books, she was the only one to survive. The experiment was only
partial successful, she gained the knowledge of a symbologist, a invoker and gained knowledge of the many lores of the land.
But she didn't recieve the experiance, so she tires faster when casting a spell from this knowledge and she must concentrate
even harder(to the point of ignoring her surrondings) when she draws. It also erase large chunks of her memories like her name
and the name of her twin, her current name was given to her by sky. She learned the basics and more of summoning from Amy
when she was with her. She traveled with Amy until she was 14 when rivals to her former master caught up to them wanting to
extract some of his secrets and to learn to replicate what was done to her, Amy sacrifice herself to kill them. She meet Sky
when she was 11 when he was capture by her master to be experminted on, he only started to
warm up to her when he saw what Kevin and Claire was doing to her. The barcode on her left shoulder is a replica of his. She
smiles, laughs alot and is kind to others, but in reality this is a persona, she is really catutions around others and is ready
to bolt at the first sign of trouble. It is very hard to earn her trust and thanks to what she's been through she is willing to
make use of anything that will help her to escape, even immorale means. Thanks to the experiment she is permentaly stuck looking like a 12 year old.
She is a very curious person, but she rarely lets that part of her out, thanks to Sky she is willing to use technology and to learn more about science.
She keeps the combat knife Sky gave her hidden on herself so that she brings it out only when she absolute must.
Very nice. Lots of interesting ideas.
(omg i have a plain :D )
Ooh? Pls due tell! It'll kill some time till psycho gets back! lol
since the newest person to post is known as the run away apperentice and my charater is known as the shadow frost leader. he'll be looking for followers and will use her to further his own goals. have himself joesy and her and the followers of shadow frost. :D
Hmm, interesting... You should pm corrupted and psycho then, to see if their on board.
That's a perfectly fine profile. ^ ^ Just clearing things up; she's a magician who was captured and experimented on, or a scientist who was experimented on?

And no, there is no such thing as pristinely ungifted in Genesis. All living things are potentially capable of using magic, and some non-living things even have the spark of magic, like the mountains around The Sanctum, or the mystic rivers that heal all those who bathe in them.

Well, "Magic" is the equivalent of Dreadmechs, really. Dreadmechs are just an aspect of science develop to combat the monstrous powers of magic. X3 But of course, the equivalent of Operators would probably be Summoners. They can summon huge monsters they have made a pact with, or artificial monsters or constructs like golems. There are many kinds of golems, and the most common one used for artillery is "Zaheramesh", a gigantic, slow moving golem with arms that move faster than sound. They're known to charge up the gems on their body with ambient magical energy from the atmosphere and fire it in a powerful concussive beam. Unlike other summons, Golems don't need pacts to be able to be summoned. They created by ritual, and there is a list of golems in every magic academy and which ritual summons which.

Summoners are also capable of summoning things like dragons or powerful demons. The requirements to do so however depend on each summon. Some ask for half one's life, some ask for first born children, some require one to keep ingesting human blood, and so on and so forth. Sometimes, Summons will all out reject the summoner if the summoner is of a low level. At the same time, an Operator's Dreadmech and piloting skills will not be as good as a more experienced Dreadmech Operator's. Summoners aren't limited to just living things mind you. They can summon and banish equipment as well.

Machines cannot be fooled by illusions. They see right through them. Cyborgs are still susceptible to illusions because the information they receive still goes to their human brain, but Cyborgs are a lot more resilient to illusions than others. Androids are completely immune to them. X3 Illusions only work on things that have the potential to use magic, so things like equipment or targeting systems or radar cannot be fulled by it.

And really, there is no "rock paper scissors" among classes. It depends on the skill of each person.

An Innovative Technician's success of victory will depend on his/her equipment and skill with the equipment, while a Desolation Warlock's success will hinge on the spells he knows and his combat abilities with the spells and magic. It can go either way.

The currency in Archive is called "Credits", or "Cred" for short. There is no such thing as tangible Cred, All Cred is kept on a personal account that can be paid for by scanning one's serial number. This way, anything anyone buys can be tracked and recorded.

There are several kinds of currency in Legendarius:
Eko - Copper coins.
Kant - Bronze coins. (1 Kant is worth 10 Eko)
Ispar - Silver coins. (1 Ispar is worth 10 Kant)
Legen - Gold coins. (1 Legen is worth 10 Ispar)
Ragowe - Elemun coins. (1 Ragowe is worth 10 Legen)

The most commonly traded coins are Eko, Kant and Ispar, Eko being the equivalent of say, $1. Legen and Ragowe coins are mostly used by nobles, aristocrats, or people who are very rich. 1 Ragowe is worth about 10 big houses. They are often used as rewards to individuals who complete very important missions, or awarded to people who have saved a town on behalf of Legendarius, and ten of these are awarded to those who have aided in destroying a city on the side of Archive.

How much you receive will depend on your occupation and the missions you do, or your contributions to the war. You can tell me your occupation here, how much you make every month (or every two weeks of service in the war) and how much money you currently have, and I'll see if it's okay.

There are many shops in the Science side, many of which can be accessed remotely. There are shops for chemicals, clothes, weapons, machine parts, fuel, energy cores, etc, and Scientists will often be capable of accessing them anywhere they are, even in the battlefield, those this is inadvisable. There will also be a "Black Merchant" who sells things that are illegal or hard to find. He is capable of wiping your shopping transactions clean so your purchases aren't recorded. He sells things from body parts and stolen, prototype weapons to Dreadmechs and Genetic experiments.

Magicians have to return to town or a city in order to buy things, and what they can buy depends on the shops in the current area. Blacksmiths fix weapons and armor, as well as craft them, Granmelders create and fix enchanted artifacts, relics and other items (they require materials as well as money, and will provide you a list of materials you need to collect for a commission. These are often very expensive.), clothes stores sell, well, clothes, with various effects, depending on the material.

Ingredient shops sell potions and things for potions, Bookshops sell all sorts of books full of information, Magic shops sell enchanted artifacts and relics as well as instructions for different kinds of magic you're compatible with and the like.

Information of the Dystopia of Archive is coming soon. X3

This is starting to feel like the development of a video game RPG.
