I doubt it. They seem to be trying to distance the manga from the anime as much as possible.

Well... I considered about it since Digimon anime is no stranger puppet master type of big bads.. Like Apocalymon, BelialVamdemon and Lucemon. Still 50-50 that Bagramon is our final opponent...

After looking closely through the last chapter of the manga, one of the panels clearly shows enough of Nene's ass to make it clear she isn't wearing any panties.
