"I used to work for an evil digimon named Myotismon. He raised me to be as evil as he was. I turned against him against him though, but not before I did some things I regret." Gatomon sighed at remembering the emotional experience.
"Hey come on cheer up. In a way that makes you a bigger hero than I am." Veemon smiled happily.
Now Gatomon was the confused one. "How can that be?"
"Well, I was always good. It's nothing to be a hero if you where raised as one. But to realize what you've been doing is wrong and try to correct it takes more courage. And Kari loves you unconditionally now, I can see that, so you obviously succeeded." Veemon closed his eyes, tiled his head and smiled.
Gatomon was beside herself. The wisdom in his word touched her deeply. She hugged Veemon quickly. Gatomon looked up. "Why did you do that?"
