Lemon #4

The continuation of lemon #2, and indirectly of #3.

Sprawled face down on the huge four poster bed, Davis closed his eyes and gripped the material of the pillows under his head tightly in his fists. The slender figure of the Digimon Emperor, little more than a silhouette in the darkness, towered over him from behind. Davis’s dark ring, still firmly fixed around his neck, pulsed with red light in time with his quickening heartbeat. He was finally pleasing his master, he had to do everything right now otherwise he might make him angry again. An electrifying shiver ran up his spine as he felt the Emperor press the tip of his boyhood against his tight, virgin entrance. He suppressed the urge to force his body backwards and impale himself, he had been impertinent enough already. The Emperor was back in control now, and they would go at his pace. He held his breath as the pressure slowly increased.

KA-BOOOOOM!

The room tilted violently sideways. Caught completely off guard, the Emperor was flung from the bed. A choked yelp of pain escaped his lips as he hit the floor hard. Davis clung to the bed to prevent becoming dislodged himself. The door to the bedroom flew open as Wormmon scuttled in, his blue eyes huge and panic stricken.

“Master, master! We’re under attack! It’s the other…” he tailed off as the Emperor sat up slowly, still completely naked. Confusion and fear warred on the little green digimon’s face as he struggled to piece together what was happening. At that moment Davis’s head popped up over the edge of the bed.

Davis? What was he doing out of his cell? And why was the master naked and dazed on the floor? Had he been attacked by Davis?

As Wormmon struggled with his thoughts, Davis slipped off the edge of the bed and moved towards the Emperor, who was glowering at him banefully from the floor. Davis, still naked himself, crouched down on the cold floor beside him and reached out to touch his face. His hand stopped a few inches short as Wormmon suddenly shot a stream of sticky silk thread at his wrist and yanked it backwards. Scampering across the room, he threw himself between the two boys, scowling at Davis. Then he sucked in a huge breath and blew a whole net of sticky thread at him. Davis fell back, trapped by the wads of sticky material clinging to his skin and gluing his limbs together.

“Master, go…” Wormmon whimpered, not taking his eyes off of Davis. “The base is under attack, the other kids are here and freeing all your captive digimon. We can’t defend the base without them. They must be stopped.”

The Emperor’s mind raced. The other digidestined? He had been completely prepared for their arrival, and yet, he had still been caught off guard. They didn’t even know where the base was and yet they found it so quickly! How had this happened?

KA-BOOOM!

Another blast from outside shook the building. Pulling himself together, the Emperor got up and started to wriggle back into his suit, struggling to get his still semi erect dick back into his pants.

“What the fuck are you staring at?” he snarled at Wormmon as the little insect quickly dropped his curious gaze.

As he picked up his cape the TV remote dropped out from under it. Snatching it up, he turned on the wall mounted screen, flicking it onto a view of the outside of the base. Two things struck him at once, both equally horrifying. Firstly, the digi-brats were indeed outside the base, most on the ground, but two hovering in the air on their flying armour digimon. A red bolt of power shot from one of the figures, and then, moments later, the base rocked again from another impact. Second, it was growing dark outside, the sun dropping rapidly from the sky, turning it a pretty pinky purple colour, but the beauty of the sunset was not what had caught the Emperor’s attention. Just the cold, hard fact that it was dark, and therefore late. Exactly how long had he been in this room with Davis? A good few hours, and yet he had barely noticed the time slipping away…Davis had amply seen to that.

Fully dressed again, the Emperor stood in front of Davis and looked down at him as he sat on the floor, awkwardly bound by the net. He met the Emperor’s hard look with his clouded brown eyes, his mouth open, lower lip trembling slightly.

“Master…” he whispered.

The Emperor placed a gloved finger over Davis’s lips.

“You… distracted me… “ he said, with obvious effort. His scowl twisted into a look of pure torment. “Distracted… while they searched for you… I would have had them… where I wanted them. You…tricked me… because of you… I wasn’t READY” He spat the last word right in Davis’s face and punctuated it with a hard slap across his right cheek. Davis gasped in pain and surprise, his cheek turning a stinging red and his eyes watering uncontrollably. Gasping, he dropped his head only to have it yanked up again by the Emperor as he pulled on his hair. He stared dazed into the Emperor’s icy glare.

“You will pay for this” he said, darkly.

He let go of Davis’s hair abruptly, letting his head drop onto his chest again, and strode across the room, Wormmon following at what he felt was a safe distance.

When the Emperor reached the doorway he stopped and turned to face the figures cowering in the room, his thin chest heaving.

“YOU’RE ALL USELESS!” He screamed.

_____________

Halsemon and Pegasusmon swooped down from their airborne circling and landed next to the other digidestined and digimon standing a short way off from the base. TK and Yolie jumped down from their respective digi-partners backs.

“Nothing yet” said Yolie downheartedly “Maybe they left before we even arrived”.

“No, they’re definitely in there” TK countered “If they did leave they’ve got nowhere else to go, the base is the most protected hideout the Emperor has. Guarded by numerous slaves and with the option to fly it to another mystery location at the flick of a switch. Plus I’m getting a signal from Davis’s digivice. It’s weak but its there on the screen.” He held his D3 up for the others to see.

“The Emperor has lookouts everywhere” Cody mused, “ He must have known we were coming. Why didn’t he move the base again? And how come he hasn’t even attacked us yet?”

“That’s true. So far we’ve only fought off the perimeter guards, and they were hardly a challenge. Those dark rings snapped like toothpicks when we attacked them.” Kari added. She held a sniffling DemiVeemon in her arms.

“Well he must know we’re here. We’ve fired three attacks at the base already, if that didn’t get his attention God knows what he’s doing in there.” TK said.

“So what do we do now?” Yolie said, exasperated.

“We wait for him to make his move I guess” TK replied.

The Emperor had taken his usual seat in the control room. He stared listlessly at the shots on the TV’s of the group of kids talking on the sands outside the base. Waiting for him to make his move he supposed.

Although he still felt like tearing Davis’s deceitful heart out of his godforsaken little chest and showing it to him as he died, the intense anger he felt earlier had passed, and it seemed that it had swept every other feeling out of his body too as it left him. He felt fragile and empty, like a delicate shell on a faraway beach.

What had he learned from his experiment with the dark ring on Davis? Had it genuinely worked? Had Davis been 100% under his control. No, he didn’t think so. Davis’s will was a strong one, not easily broken, and somehow the Emperor admired him for that. It had manifested itself somewhat strangely though, with Davis coming onto him like that in such a powerful sexual display, rendering him helpless to new and addictive sensations.

So had the dark ring effectively harnessed his will and turned it into a need to serve and please? Or had he still been conscious of his friends and acted purposely to distract him while the group closed in undetected?

His heart ached, an unfamiliar and frightening experience. Had Davis been genuinely attracted to him?

“Master… you have to do something about those kids” Wormmon scuttled in with a forlorn looking Davis in tow. Wormmon had cleaned the web from him and put him back into his clothes, but the ring remained around his neck. The Emperor shifted uncomfortably in his seat, refusing to look at Davis in case he sent him into new paroxysms of rage.

“I don’t have time for this anymore” he said huffily, spinning round in his chair to face away from them. “I have more pressing projects to dedicate my time to. Take that ring off of his neck and get him out of my sight.”

“Your prototype ring didn’t work? But you put so much effort into…” Wormmon started.

“Just go. I’m moving the base in two minutes.”

“Yes master.” Wormmon and Davis muttered in unison.

Wormmon led Davis down to the concealed entrance that he had first come through when he was being held captive by Snimon. When they were standing on the sand just outside the base Wormmon beckoned Davis to bend down.

“I’m glad this didn’t work out” he muttered, half to Davis and half to himself. “He’s not a bad kid deep down. I just need to make him see that before his dreams up some new project that could get someone seriously hurt.” He crawled onto Davis’ back and took hold the ring in both claws, snapping it open and letting it fall to the ground. He hopped down just as Davis’s eyes flickered shut and he collapsed forward, out cold.

Picking up the ring Wormmon scampered back into the base as it started to rise gently from the ground.

“The base is moving!”

The kids all looked up in surprise toward the direction that Cody was pointing. Sure enough, the base was rising slowly from the ground.

“Right guys, we have to attack now” TK shouted, vaulting himself up onto Pegasusmon’s back and taking off immediately. Cody and Kari armour digi-volved their own rookies and took off after him together with Yolie.

The base has risen to a good height very quickly and was picking up speed as it moved away from them. “We won’t lose them” Pegagsusmon reassured TK.

‘They getting away!” DemiVeemon squeaked from his position on Nefertimon’s head as they struggled to keep up. He dropped his head in despair. “Davish…” he whispered. Then he saw something on the ground where the base had been as they passed over it.

“Kari, Kari go down” he squealed back at her. “I see something where the base was!” Nefertimon swooped down towards the ground. As they came it to land it became obvious that the figure sprawled on the ground was none other than Davis. DemiVeemon whooped with joy and leapt to the ground when they were close enough, running towards his digidestined partner as fast as he little legs could carry him.

Kari whipped out her D-Terminal to call the others back before she joined DemiVeemon on the ground beside Davis. The little digimon looked up at her with wide, tearful eyes.

“Is he gonna be okay” he lisped quietly.

“I think so” Kari lifted Davis’ head into her lap and stroked his forehead. “He’s just unconscious”.

The others were with them a couple of minutes later. TK knelt down beside Kari and Davis and put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

“Is he okay?” he asked.

“Yes, but we really need to get him back home safe and think of some way to cover for his absence.”

“Okay, let’s do it” TK hooked his arms around Davis’s waist and pulled him upright. With Kari’s help they managed to get him onto Pegasusmon’s back in front of TK, who kept a tight hold of him as they flew towards their nearest gate point back to the real world.

Luckily the school was almost completely empty when they returned. TK hoisted Davis onto his back piggy-back style. He was heavy, but to carry him any other way might arouse unnecessary interest that they didn’t need right now.

Once they were out in the street they stopped to discuss their next move.

“We better go back to my place first.” TK suggested “My mom won’t be back for a couple of hours yet, hopefully we can bring him round there, then get him to his own home.

Fifteen minutes later TK eased Davis onto his bed and collapsed onto the chair by his desk, grimacing at his aching back. Kari pulled the covers over him arranged the pillows beneath his head. Her mouth dried out a little as she remembered what had taken place between her and TK the night before. It had been a moment of complete madness. She had now slept with two members of the digidestined team, two members who, at the best of times, disliked and were uncooperative with each other. Neither knew that she had been with the other, but if one let slip of what had happened all hell would break loose. How do I get into these situations, she thought guiltily to herself. She glanced over her shoulder at TK. He gave her a small smile, but his thoughts probably followed the same line as hers.

Yolie stepped back into the room with a tray of hot drinks which the group took gratefully. They then took turns to ring their parents and explain where they were, but no one dared to ring the Motomiya residence until Davis was awake. One by one they left the room until only Kari and DemiVeemon remained with Davis. She patted the little digimon gently on the head.

“It won’t be long now” she said in what she hoped was a cheerful tone.

Just then Davis stirred. DemiVeemon leapt onto the pillow by his head expectantly. His eyes open slowly, then he blinked groggily a few times. His sight cleared by degrees and his deep brown eyes visably brightened as Kari and DemiVeemon came into focus.

“Kari” he said, a wide smile lit up his face as he tried to sit up and hug her.

“Don’t” she whispered pulling away. Davis stopped but gave her a hurt look. Kari gestured toward the bedroom door.

“TK is here” she mouthed.

“Davishh!” Demiveemon jumped into Davis lap and hugged his waist tightly, oblivious to the tense exchange between the kids.

Davis let his gaze linger on Kari a little longer before he turned his attention to his pal, hugging the little digimon to him tightly.

“I’m okay little guy” he said.

TK popped his head round the door.

“I thought I heard voices” he said, closing the door quietly behind him and walking towards the little group on the bed. Kari felt her heart clench with dread. Here we go, she thought.

“Davis, how are you?” TK asked, pulling the desk chair over to the bed and seating himself.

“Okay I think”

“What happened to you?”

Kari shot Davis a painful look which he luckily noticed.

“Ah… I er… I got some kind of distress call from the digimon. I knew it was late but I couldn’t just leave them, I didn’t think it would take long to sort out. Then I ran into Kari on my way to the school, and she offered to come with me…

“But you didn’t take your digimon. Why go on a potential rescue mission without them?” TK asked, incredulous.

“Um… I’m an idiot?” Davis suggested.

“I think that quite accurately sums it up. But I guess you’ve learnt your lesson and had a pretty lucky escape to boot. This could have been so much worse!”

“Well… I’m okay aren’t I?”

“You look okay. But why would the Emperor bother to set a trap to catch you only to let you again the minute we show up? He’s never abandoned a fight and taken off like that before. It just doesn’t make sense!”

“Did you escape somehow without him knowing?” Kari ventured.

“Actually, I don’t know how I escaped” Davis screwed up his face as he struggled to think. “The last thing I remember is being locked in a prison cell inside the base. After that…nothing.”

“Now that IS weird” TK said.

“Maybe he’s finally lost it. He may just leave the digital world alone of his own accord and we won’t even have to fight him.”

“I very much doubt that, Kari” TK retorted. ”This is very out of character for him but I don’t think there’s any call for needless speculation. We’re together again and that’s what matters.”

Davis looked at the bedside clock.

“Whoa, its late. I better call my Mom.” Davis got out of the bed and stood up shakily. “I’ll have to weave one of my usual unbelievable tales, that I was abducted by aliens or something.”

“Won’t your Mum be suspicious of that.”

“Nah, me and June do stupid things like disappearing into thin air all the time. As long as I’m back and safe they won’t be too hard on me.” He picked up DemiVeemon and went through into the front room, leaving TK and Kari alone together.

“This doesn’t make sense at all Kari. Even with Davis being thick headed enough to go to the digital world alone I didn’t think you would be so complacent as to leave Gatomon behind.”

“I don’t know why I left her either” Kari said quietly.

“What if you had been taken instead? You had the sense to come back for us but Davis probably would’ve mounted another of his amazing unassisted rescues only to be caught too. Then we would’ve had no idea where you were! I would’ve been very scared… I don’t want to lose you.”

He caught her before she had time to react, drawing her close to his chest and hugging her tightly.

“What happened last night means the world to me. I like to think that we’ve been very close since we first met. We’ve grown up a lot together and shared some pretty hair raising adventures. I’ve never known a more selfless, caring individual. I’ve always admired you, seen you as something of a soul mate and…” he hesitated “I love you Kari.”

Kari pulled away from TK’s embrace. His eyes were large and hopeful, but he looked deadly serious; this obviously meant so much to him. Kari tried to steady herself, but she could already feel he tears welling up inside.

“Oh…TK…” she started.

She was cut short by a breakout of pandemonium in the front room. Yolie stuck her head round the door.

“Cody’s spotted your Mom’s car pulling up… we’re gonna grab the digimon and run so we don’t get you into trouble. See you tomorrow!” And with that she vanished.

“Yolie’s right TK. Your Mom’s probably had a long day at work and won’t appreciate coming home to a house full of kids.” She leant forward and kissed him quickly and gently on the lips.

“Stay Kari. I need to talk to you.” TK pleaded.

“I need time to think TK. We’ll speak some more about this tomorrow.”

TK followed her into the front room. Gatomon and DemiVeemon were playing on the sofa together while Davis was engrossed in something on TV.

“Come on Gatomon, we’d better go too”

“Okay” Gatomon jumped up into Kari’s arms.

“You too Davis” Kari ordered, turning the TV off.

“Awww… I was enjoying that.”

“You can finish watching it at home”

Still grumbling, Davis gathered up DemiVeemon and walked to the door.

“See you tomorrow TS! Thanks for helping Kari rescue me!”

“Yeah, whatever…” TK replied absentmindedly. He walked Kari to the front door.

“Call me, Kari”

“I will”

TK watched her disappear round the corner. He felt more torn over his feelings for her than ever before, but he had told her how he felt. The ball was in her court. It was for her to decide now.

Once they were well away from TK’s apartment block, Davis bounded over to Kari and swept her up in his arms, kissing her passionately on the lips. Kari responded a little, but Davis knew something was wrong.

“Kari, its okay. I’m back now, the Emperor didn’t hurt me – I’m all in one piece!”

“I know” Kari sighed “ I guess I’m just still a little shaken up. I’ll feel better after some sleep”

“Okay, see you tomorrow then.” He kissed her again. “Love you!” He called over his shoulder as he ran towards his own apartment block.

Kari said nothing. She dropped her head and trudged toward her own block. Gatomon followed in a thoughtful silence.

“There’s something wrong, isn’t there” Gatomon said softly as Kari got into bed beside her.

Davis had already blown her cover to her observant little digimon partner. Kari decided she had no choice but to explain what had happened.

“I can’t keep this inside me any longer, Gatomon, I feel like I’m going to crack.”

“Its got something to do with Davis’s capture hasn’t it. I thought you were holding back.”

Kari’s eyes filled with tears.

“The truth is that… that I had sex with Davis.”

“But isn’t that only something that happens between two humans who love each other very much. I had no idea you felt strongly about Davis, you like to make fun of him.”

“I guess I was really flirting with him. He’s stupid and arrogant and cocky I know… but he’s handsome and exciting, sexy too. A bit of a dark horse.”

“I can’t quite see where this is going. If you want to be with Davis I don’t see how that can be a bad thing.”

“There’s more.” Kari said sadly. “We went to the digital world alone to have sex without the possibility of being caught by our parents. And I didn’t think it was appropriate to drag you along with us. We lied to the group. There was no distress signal. We’d been a few times before the same way, I suppose we felt safer than we really were. The Emperor attacked completely out of the blue.”

“He doesn’t usually come out at night” Gatomon agreed.

“Well, he did this time. He took Davis but I escaped. I went straight to TK, I knew he would help me, he always has. And he suggested we rally the group and attack with force the next day.”

“A wise move”.

“Yes, from one point of view. It was too late for me to attempt to sneak back into the house, so I slept in TK’s bed with him. I know he only did it to comfort me but I…made things happen”.

“Oh Kari”. Gatomon’s ears drooped in horror. “You’ve been with both of them”.

Kari nodded mutely.

“They already dislike each other, and if this gets out I’ve just added fuel to the fire. I have to do something, I can’t let this split up the team!”. The tears finally came, streaming down her cheeks.

“Oh Kari” Gatomon reached over and hugged her as she wept.

“This has to come out into the open, the longer it remains hidden the harder it will be for both of them to take. You’ve made a mistake but now you have to do all you can to rectify it for the group’s sake. If the group is split up the digital world will remain enslaved by that horrible Emperor ”

“I have to do it tomorrow.” Kari inhaled deeply to pull herself together and clear her head. “I have to stop seeing both of them until this all dies down again. Then if I find that I still want to be with one of them I have to make sure it’s for good, and just hope that they will forgive me and take me back.”

“I know it’s early yet, but do you know in your heart who you would rather be with.”

“TK and I have known each other for such a long time, we’re so easy around each other and I feel like I can tell him anything. I’ve only known Davis a little while, but he’s exciting and passionate and I am quite fond of him too. I don’t know if I ‘love’ either of them yet. I’ve been a little too liberal with the term, the feeling is something I’m still unfamiliar with.”

“I know you’ll do the right thing.” Gatomon yawned. “Let’s get some kip for now. It’ll all work out in the end.”

“I hope so” Kari whispered into Gatomon’s soft fur as they both drifted off.
