Renamon decided that we should go to see Azulongmon for help. The walk was a silent one aside from the occasional sob from Renamon, the shock of seeing her entire village destroyed and her mother executed right in front of her eyes had still not left her. Azulongmon, being the God of the digimon surely could offer some advice on what was going on. The distance that needed to be covered was about 200 miles so this trip is going to take a while. As were walking I could not help but wonder what was going on back on earth.

(NOTE: time in the digital world and the earth pass the same.)

It’s been about twelve hours since my friend Seth disappeared. I went with him to clear the floor we had been sent to, I was leaving one of the rooms when I saw Seth walk into a room with a glowing blue light. I chased after him but when I got to the room where he had walked in he was gone and the blue light went with him. I radioed the sergeant to tell him what had happened and that the floor was clear. He cursed and ordered the squad to regroup in the lobby. I guess I’m going to head down now.

When I got to the lobby of the hospital the rest of my squad had met up with alpha, we had got word from HQ that there was no trace of the monsters left. All communications were back online and in the past that meant that the monsters had gone. A chopper transport was on its way to take us to New York City.

New York City? But if we are headed there then that means. Oh shit!!! Alice!!

Seth

Me and Renamon have been walking all day today but we finally came up on a town, after we ate at one of the local restaurants we found a train station. This would cut down our travel time by a huge amount. Renamon, still upset about the death of her family, decided that a relaxing train ride would be a nice time to sit back and put her life back in order. After we got our tickets at the booth boarding the train was just a few steps away, when we got on the train me and Renamon went straight to the cabin to sleep. My watch says its 11:30 PM. Time to sleep.

We boarded the chopper about twelve hours ago, we got briefed on the current situation in NYC, and it doesn’t look good. The monsters struck first at the Bronx, and then headed towards Manhattan Island. Thank God Alice is safe; our apartment is in queens which is where we are being sent as a first line of defense. The chopper is about to land at Camp David for a final briefing and a restock of supplies we are headed out at 0800 hours.

THE STATE OF THE WORLD

(It’s basically a news report)

After the attacks started the people of earth looked to the same place for answers as they had in the past, their governments and their religions. The world leaders told them to stay calm, and of course the Pope told them to pray, but when the attacks didn’t stop people looked back to their leaders and the pope and having no other choice they got the same answers as before, that was when all hell broke loose. Riots broke out all over the world. The leader in Russia was assassinated as was the pope. The people who killed the pope made it painfully clear that if another person took his place they would share the same fate. The people that were next in line being the cowards that they were stayed away and watched as the world descended into chaos, the governments that had been set in place for hundreds of years falling apart within days. The people had forsaken all religions and were living by their own laws, except for the few faithful remaining in small patches around the world. Worldwide martial law was in effect, food was in short supply and what food could be found mostly went to the military. Surely these were the final hours of humanity unless a hero would come along, but the hero earth need isn’t even on earth, he is on a train in the digital world headed to see the God of all digimon to find a solution to the problem that has befallen earth.

I woke up just in time to get off of the train Renamon said that Azulongmon’s mountain was just about an hour walk from the train station. The hour passed by quick, now all we have to do is climb the mountain. My watch says its 9:00 AM.

We just landed right outside of NYC and we can see the smoke coming from the Bronx. Manhattan Island so there hasn’t been that much destruction yet. My sergeant just ordered us to take up a defense, they are on there way! Our make shift bunker probably will not last for long, so they have begun to evacuate the area. The monsters are right in front of us, all I see around me is death, bodies being dismantled, truly these are the horrors of war. I’ve been hit, I can’t feel my legs, the apartment complex where me and Alice…… its gone, they didn’t have time to evacuate that one. My God these really are the end times…. So tired….. Going to go to sleep.

Seth

We just climbed to the top of Azulongmon’s mountain, and are about to see him. Renamon is lifting her hands in the air and chanting in a language that I can’t understand. The clouds directly above us are separating into two groups, a blue light much like the one I saw at the hospital is beginning to shine through the clouds. What appears to be a large dragon with a long slender almost transparent body that glows white like the heavens appears, his body wrapped with chains, and a few sets of wings across his back. His head is blue with yellow stripes and he has a horn sitting at the top, his long beard shows age, but with age comes wisdom and we are gonna need a shit load of it to save the world.

Its dark. I can see the sky, its filled with smoke, remnants of my comrades scattered around me on the ground, the stench that is in the air tells me that I was unconscious for a while. I can hear the moans of injured soldiers all around me. The battle here is over, who would have thought that the end would look this way. I can walk now, I need to find shelter, try to call command.

Seth

The being that had appeared before me was Azulongmon, God to all in the digital world, and we were hoping that we were gonna get some help from him. He began by telling us that the barrier between earth and the digital world had been severed and that the digimon were free to go to earth if they wanted to do so. There was an evil digimon by the name of Myotismon who dreamt of dominating the digital world. When he had accomplished most of this feat, he learned of earth and wanted it as well. That was when he used his immense power to shatter the barrier that divided the two worlds. He is planning to use his armies to take over the earth. He was also to blame for the destruction of Renamon’s village.

I just got off the phone with HQ, lotta help they were. They wouldn’t even send me a transport. they told me to meet up with a special ops team about a mile north of my location so I’m headed up there. Should take about fifteen minutes to get there.

Seth

We just got to the bottom of the mountain and are headed back to town, from there we are going to mount a resistance against Myotismon. We are hoping to regain control of all the territories that he has taken over. I just hope everything is going well back on earth.
