RPG Centered Around Time Travel?

A person to whom I'm subscribed to on YouTube is currently doing a playthrough of Chrono Trigger and it go to me thinking, would anyone be interested in an RPG where peole play characters from different eras in history, past, present and future? I originally tried to start a Digimon RPG with this idea a LONG time ago but since I didn't really know how to drive a story it died rather quickly. This time I unfortunately don't have any kind of story or plot to base a new RPG around as of yet but if this gives anyone ideas they're welcome to it.
