The Invasion. (The Spire continuation)

The bricks kept shattering into dust as they crashed against the bulky creature. It seemed to be impervious to any and all physical attacks. "You are all pathetic!" he roared.

But Mar didn't care. He began dash-leaping through the ceilings, circling the area until he was in range with the liutenant. He made use of his dragon strength and kicked hard on the ground, propelling himself with his swallow held out, attempting to impale the demon to free both Alexis and Prisma.

However, Mar merely bounced on the arm he was aiming at. "God-damnit! How tough are you?!" he cursed as he fell back to the floor. He was shortly grabbed by the liutenant holding him up with his free claw. "Ugh!"

"You, stupid, brats!" he roared again, attempting to crush the weakened dragoness against the white-haired human, but all of a sudden he arched back and let out a howl of pain. The magical electric current flowing through his body considerably putting some hurt on his body.

"G-guys!" Mar groaned, an eye closed and teeth clenched. The strength that the demon was exerting in an attempt to crush them bare-handed would've already reduced any other human to bloody red pulp. Mar endured the pain though as he felt the magic radiating from below and yelled: "Use magic! He can't defend against it!"
