Alexis groaned as she was ensnared by the demon's tail, surprised that the blessed silver of her weapon had minimal effect on the creature. Her elven reflexes came through in the nick of time as she braced herself against the impact. "Ahhh!" she cried out in a fair amount of agony. Her body was more durable than a mere human's, but it was clear that the demon was stronger in this advanced state. With her weapon flung away, the only thing she could do was the grab the tail that was holding her before sending a direct bolt of holy magic through the appendage. "Let go!"
