Who is the most "infamous" rookie of the entire series?

I'll go for Demi-devimon since his initial strategy to sever TK and Patamon apart kind of worked, of course, until things went back. That and he was useless all along so that made him annoying. Infamous is alright.

Gee, define 'infamous'? It'd really help rather put the word "imfamous" up in apostrophes as if it has a very significant meaning! XD If by general notoriety, then it's probably Lucemon, in the digimon perspective, since he's part of a digimon legend about angels and stuff. By fan standards? Probably Renamon.

If by popularity, then it's still probably Renamon. X3

You can't forget to mention him. Then again, for having the power to conjure about a solar system, and making the Royal Knights your bitches is sort of something to worth mentioning.

Yeah... but he's not exactly infamous- I mean, when asked what their favorite rookies are, a majority of people wouldn't say Lucemon. He wins over any other rookie (except maybe Arkadimon) in terms of sheer, destructive power, but as for presentation (He's a scantily clad pedobait with lots and lotsa wings), the hot factor (if you're into little boys) and the cool factor (he gets points for destroying the moon and two megas at the very least, though summoning something similar to the solar system... is kinda silly), he's not exactly someone to fear right then and there.

I suppose in a way, he's like Sephiroth and his one wing, who's really popular and would be totally cool if he didn't have a mother complex and his wing wasn't aerodynamically impractical. Except Lucemon isn't as popular. He should be though. Sephiroth can destroy galaxies with a super nova, has an angel motiff and is a main villain, so they has some similarities, except Sephiroth has this... really long sword, long hair, is of legal age and considered by many to be totally made of sex! If shotacon weren't illegal here, I'd say the same for Lucemon! But it still seems like one of the most memorable rookies would be Renamon. Everyone's lesbian for Renamon! X3

X3 Now I'd go for the more aesthetic Veemon. I dunno. He's just cute, has reasonably attractive digivolve forms (if you're into that sort of thing- or if you're me.) and- and- he's a dragon! XD

I think it has to be Yggdrasil from XEvolution. Think about it, everyone knows about Yggdrasil and yet noone outside of the Royal Knights have actually seen him. He's like the Kaiser Soze of all Digimon characters and Kaiser Soze is possibly one of the most infamous characters ever...besides Chuck Norris.

Heck, I think Patamon should be more notorious- not as himself, but with his ability to digivolve into kickass angel digimon made him my favorite ever rookie when I was a child, because I favored power over presentation. Anyhow I agree with Psycho Backslasher on that Patamon should be more notorious, I mean even as a rookie he did had his moments like saving TK in 01 from ending crashing at the bottom of the waterfall and saving Veemon from get crushed by Virus MetalGreymon (Storm of Friendship episode), and don't forget the fight with Elecmon, he didn't felt intimidated by Elecmon, he fought him and gave him a pretty good fight till TK stopped them and even so, on the Tug-O-War game Patamon showed he isn't that weak, I mean sending Elecmon flying by just pulling the rope with his teeth sure is an achievement for such small digimon ^^

Patamon was a digimon that kept trying not matter if the odds were against him :)

I think that is not just power what can make a digimon well known or respected, it is also his or her will force, how he or she doesn't gives up, etc. Power isn't all. ^^

I think Yggdrasil is a program rather than a person though, cuz in the X-Evolution movie, that's all it seemed to be. A 'perfect' program. Though again, in fanbase, Yggdrasil isn't exactly popular! XD I've yet to see Yggdrasil porn, and the only Lucemon porn I've seen was that image above with a badly drawn MS paint penis stuck in the corner of random characters with other badly drawn dirty bits- I actually had to skim over it several times until I noticed Lucemon! XD
