John looked down as he felt the wound close and his strength begin to return. He prodded the spot experimentally, and was amazed to find it indeed whole again. He looked around, and spotted a white mage not too far away. Amazing... I had heard that they had this power, but this i's unbelievable... I'll have to thank him later.

He looked around the battlefield, and noticed the mechanics. Shit not them again. What are they up to now? ... Let us not find out before those two little ones are done. He thought, taking aim at the knewly awakened guard. He sighed inwardly. Sleeping gas keeps wearing off before its time... Gonna have to watch that. He fired.

The light faded and Vance lashed out with his chained sickle at the guard that had assaulted him. He didn't mind getting so beat up as long as the girls stayed safe. If it's a distraction I need to be, I'll be the best one I can, he thought, retrieving his weapon by yanking on the chain, catching the sickle in his other hand.

John gasped as the two bullets entered him, one from each side, blood pouring from both wounds. Still... Alive...? he thought, amazed that he was still, somehow, not dead.

John moves to H5.

He staggered forward, towards the oncoming enemy; possibly the worst thing he could do, but he didn't really care: he just needed to give them enough time.

Focusing with all his might, he force his arm up. Suddenly his mind was clear, the pain clouding his mind receding, like it was blown away, leaving only calmness, and precision. "you have toiled long and hard for the cause you believe in." his voice began to rise as he spoke. "Worry not, your suffering will soon be at an end." Small lights began to flicker in his eyes, around his body, suddenly bursting into flames. "May the fires clense your conscience, so that you may rise above your tears and turmoil. Today, the bell tolls for YOU!" He fired, flames invelopping his shot, burning with white hot light towards the enemy!

John uses the deathblow, Final Judgement on Mechanic 3 (I1)! (11 Atk x 1.5 deathblow boost = 17 fire DMG)
FP resets to zero.

Then, with his last bit of energy, he drew a line in the ground in front of him, stating to all those opposed: "THOU SHALT NOT PASS!!", before slumping forward onto his knees from exhaustion.
