Welcome to the big apple, New York New York, the city so nice they named it twice, etc etc. This is the place people mean when they say the big city, they say that if you can make it here you can make it anywhere! Though these days that's a lot harder, with super powered people running around and fighting everywhere you may wanna get some good insurance. People scream and run from dangerous and unstable villains, while they cheer and flock to the brave and noble heroes, and with more and more heroes falling and villains being thwarted it's only a matter of time till some like minded supers come together to form a team to stop the opposing powers. They say that if you can make it here you can make it anywhere, though the only real way to 'make it' is to have powers.

OOC: So here it is right on schedule, my super heroes/villains rp. you know the basic rules that I and DaD admins enforce, so lets get to rp specifics.

1: Original characters only! No using a preexisting character from the comics and shows. Gotta make them yourselves folks. :3

2: Normal civilians will be npcs, nothing more boring than people signing up as normal none special bystanders because they couldn't think up a good character.

3: Stick to what you pick, none of that 'Villain with a heart of gold' or 'Hero that'll do whatever it takes to stop the crook, even if they gotta kill em' crap, being a villain means being bad, being a hero means being good. Though that doesn't mean you can't switch sides over time.

Super Hero/Villain Name: Lady Lithe
Real name: Classified.
Gender: Female
Species: Rubber woman.
Occupation: Villainess.
Powers: She can bend anyway she wants, stretch to almost any length, and even mold her form on a whim.
Weaknesses: Extreme extreme colds can make it harder for her to move, the colder it is, the more helpless she becomes. Whle extreme heat can cause her to melt, direct contact with flames will do so almost instantly.

BIO:
Once she was a young, normal, everyday girl, She had friends and a part-time job, she even went to collage. Sure she was a convicted criminal and had been to juvie and even jail, but she was still normal. One night, after deciding that her cash flow was lacking again, she gathered up the usual flunkies and break into a warehouse and take what they wanted. Everything was going well at first, they'd snuck pass the guards, raided every safe they found, and were even stealing some chemicals to sell off later. Of course the problem with flunkies having little to no brains came up and ruined all that. While two of the guys were screwing around with a forklift, they knocked over some shelves that started a domino effect that spilled chemicals, started fires set of the alarms and pushed poor *classified* into a vat of some unknown chemicals. as the fire raged said two guys made a run for it while the others tried to find their boss, of course it wasn't long before the guards caught the whole lot of them. The fire made quick work of the building, and falling debris destroyed the vat and sent it's contents spilling down the drain. Some odd days later *classified* awoke in the sewers and after seeing no injuries, made her way home. That day she discovered that the chemicals had affected her and even her clothing! As she spent the next weeks testing out her abilities she soon learned to disguise herself and began plotting her new crime life as Lady Lithe!

Super Hero/Villain Name: Steel Revenger
Real name: Robert Cunningham (Though this secret identity is known only to himself)
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Occupation: Hero
Powers: Powered Armor, think Iron Man but on less than .1% of the budget, no flight, few fancy gadgets, and no weapons other than the enhanced strength (Enough to lift twelve tons). The armor itself is virtually invulnerable to just about anything short of high-powered military weapons (As far as he knows, he hasn't been able to test it on anything like that yet).

Weaknesses: The material the outer shell of the armor is made out of is vulnerable to strong acids, it also does not float

Appearance: Out of the armor, Robert is an unassuming young caucasian man with light brown hair, pale blue eyes, standing at 5'11 with a strong, medium build. he typically wears plain clothes such as earth-toned polos and khakis, and glasses. Inside the armor he becomes the Steel Revenger, improving his height to 6'2. It is a bulky thing, enough to cover him entirely and provide movement (albeit inelegant). The outer shell is spray painted white since the material it is made out of is a cream color when it hardens. It has been mentioned that the Steel Revenger resembles a bastardized version of "Master Chief" from the Halo series. Robert would say that he only wishes that his armor were that sleek.

BIO: An electrical engineer by day, Robert was already working on a suit of powered armor as a pet project. However when he got drunk off some imported Absinthe one night he somehow invented a material that was nearly indestructible out of random chemicals in his garage. Trying to reproduce the material was a struggle since for a while he could only remember the formula while tanked. He eventually succeeded in writing down the formula and proceedure on his sixth bender and was at last able to put the material that he dubbed, "Unyieldium" to good use. The Steel Revenger was born when, while testing his new suit of armor, he saved a part of town from some giant sized, man thing terrorizing the place.

BIO: Once, he when was 5, his father put him up for an test subject for a highly classified experiment that only the countries in the UN how about. his farther felt a great guilt upon his heart as he watch *classified* get the cells with the Aura power in them, put into his body, but only being such a young age *classified*'s body worked with the cells and make more cells with the Aura power. Years later, he lives with his mother in New York working for a newspaper company

Real name: Dr. Michaela Wilson
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Occupation: Heroine
Powers: Control of various mystical energies used in casting spells. Able to learn others over time, but the basic ones she uses are.
Object Reading: A simple mental command allows Michaela to read into an object's past. She can tell who has held the object, and if she concentrates, actually witness the last hour the previous owner used it. (In the case of once living object like Bones, she can witness the last hour of someone's life)
Telekinesis: With a brief incantation, Michaela's aura extends beyond her body and allows her to manipulate objects at a distance.
Energy blast: With another incantation Michaela sends a burts of power from her hand or eyes which can strike with a strength equal to a high powered rifle, or be as soft as a gentle breeze.
Weaknesses: In addition to needing to be able to speak to use most of her powers. When she loses control of her emotions, she also loses control of her powers, usually with devastating results.

Appearance: When not in costume, Michaela looks like a fairly average young woman, other than the fact that she tends to be seen wearing a lab coat anyway. She has long blonde hair, green eyes, and pale skin. She is roughly five and a half feet tall, and weighs just over one hundred pounds.

Her costume consists of tight red leather, a red cape in a slightly darker shade, and a mask which is so dark that it is almost black.
BIO: At 20 years old, Michaela is the youngest ever to be recognized and certified by the American board of Forensic Anthropology. Using her keen eyes, and just a touch of magic, she has solved some of the most difficult cases, though she keeps her powers a secret from all. Because she always tried to keep control of her emotions, she is often seen as cold, but those who get to know her quickly find out how wrong that assessment is.

With the recent upsurge in supervillain activity, Michaela has chosen to expand her work in an attempt to prevent needless death, instead of just solving the mysteries behind them after the fact.

Occupation: Villain
Powers: Enhanced speed, agility, and strength. As well as superior hearing and eyesight as well as reflexes that border on precognitive thought.
Weaknesses: Water, she can't swim and if submerged partly or entirely she loses her abilities. Also susceptible to high pitched frequencies thanks to her superior hearing.
Allies: Solo at the moment.
Enemies: None at the moment, she's still pretty new to the villain business.

BIO: A simple cat burglar until a faithful day when she broke into a scientific research facility, accidentally coming into contact with a new material called Dark Matter. The odd substance bonded with her, enhancing her own natural abilities while at the same time staining her fur a purplish black.

other: Lives in a large penthouse that she's financed with her illgotten goods, as well as making a living stealing priceless items for whoever can afford to hire her.

Real name: Redd "Rex" Phillips.
Gender: Male.
Species: Iguana.
Occupation: Villain.
Powers: Pyrokinesis (And its various derivative uses).
Weaknesses: Extreme Cold. (Impervious to water)
Allies: Solo.
Enemies: The Police (I'm sending an S.O.S...), but most noticeably, the Firemen Dept.
Appearance: A red and yellow scaled iguana standing six foot six with lean black hair and soft brown eyes. Has a dextrous long tail and pointy strong fangs. Usually wears black garments to conceal his otherwise unconcealable body during night operatives. Never lets go of his black beanie and trademark FC golden pendant which he holds around his neck.
BIO: Formerly a reproved High-School Sophomore who was always prone to pranks and other silly stuff. It was during one of his pranks while on a school-trip to a scientific investigation facility that he decided to upset the "Rigid Block-Heads" by extracting a test subject dubbed "Salamander01", who ironically was a large, weird-colored iguana in a cage. Setting the creature free, it hurt Rex by sinking its fangs in his neck after he tried lifting it up to take it away, this caused the iguana to somehow perish, and Rex to get knocked out from blood loss. Several days later he found himself in hospital, intensive care, where he realized he wasn't human anymore, his body had grown slightly bigger and that he had an unrestricted power of will to control fire in all its forms, which he accidentally discovered upon throwing a tantrum for his new form. Losing his mind to his own power and with immediate resolve to abuse it to his own benefit, Rex has decided to become a super-criminal to leave an easy life. His first crime was to set the investigative research facility where his life changed on fire and literally burn it down along with the whole structure, to make sure nobody would become like him even if by chance. A fugitive of the law, but hasn't murdered, yet.
Other: Likes hot and damp places, has a secret hideout where he stashes stolen goods and money, dislikes other animals.

The alarm bell rang at full volume along with the fire-alarms of the place. The bank seemed to slowly go up in flames as the police surrounded it and the firemen attempted to put it down to no avail. Many were questioning the event at all, considering that the automated-sprinklers inside should have started the second smoke was detected.

What they didn't know, was that each and every of the sprinklers surrounding the site of the fire had been melted to uselessness.

"Hello, easy money," Firecracker grinned while throwing a backpack chock full of hundreds of dollars' rolls around his back only to pick up a large bag to keep throwing more in, "Come with daddy, you're all going to get me that new house in the Hawaii," he sang to himself, his tail swishing left and right in happiness, the fire obviously not harming him or the money since he was purposedly keeping it away and from melting anything else but the safe's entrance.

(In a housing subdivision not far from downtown)

A young man has not been home from work for long, he gets situated and comfortable in front of his computer and begins checking his email. At the same time, he turns on a pair of police scanners on his desk, tuned to the largest emergency frequencies in town. Why someone like him would have this is unclear to anyone but himself. The reason for this is because he is a superhero, the Steel Revenger.

The young man, Robert Cunningham listens in for anything that seems too big for local law enforcement to handle, and requires his intervention. No sooner than he had finished his email, something came over the police band, something about a fire at a bank downtown, a fire that could not be put down. Listening closer, he heard that the bank was somehow being robbed at the same time, granted it was hearsay from escaping bank tellers, but Robert did not want to take chances.

"Okay, let's go." He said to himself as he left his home office and made his way to the backyard.

In a tool shed, he had hidden what made him the Steel Revenger, a suit of home-built powered armor. He wasted no time getting it on and activated. He then made his way out of his subdivision through some woods planted as scenery by those who built it and ran towards the bank, the enhanced strength granted by his suit allowing him to run faster than most cars given the traffic.

A museum gaurd walked through the dark halls of the building as he made his rounds, yawning slightly, Man this is pointless, with all the security this place has not even a fly could get in let alone someone trying to rob the place. Should be home relaxing not here wasting my time. he grumbled as he walked past the museums biggest exhibit, and the reason for the added security, a golden cat statue found in the ruins of egypt, decorated with a number of rare jewels including two large emeralds for eyes.

As soon as the gaurd had moved out of the way a shadow seemed to creep over the statue, a pair of bright red eyes shining under blonde hair, This is almost too easy now, the Blackcat laughed as she effortlessly cut through the glass with one of her claws, catching it before it hit the ground and made a sound. She slid the statue out, purring softly. She grinned as she placed a small white card with a black cat silhoutte on it before replacing the glass and sneaking away, her feet making no sound as she almost glided over the floor and with a single jump flew through the open skylight she'd entered through, removing the mirrors she'd used to deflect the laser grid before jumping away across the rooftops, her prize tucked safely under her arm.
