The Master actually felt fear for his life before the man. Much more than he ever had in his role as the Master. Compared to the Dark Nymphs from earlier, they were mice compared to this being. He looked at his Shaman and asked if they could get a message to Tal to tell him to prepare for an escape, and he quickly began to prepare his troops for a quick and quiet mission to save the young boy.
There is no such thing as a being of pure evil or pure good. We are all created with an equal chance of good or of evil.
