Made this thread so I can discuss or talk about music of some of my newest favorite games.

For now, this is the one in my top list, and here it is,

It's hypnotic, I have to keep looping it or I feel like the silence will kill me, haha XD What do you guys think? I love how the lyrics basically describe the game. And to think I used to think this was being sung in japanese. Props to AWL for pointing it out to me XP

I have that song on my Shuffle. I love listening to it. I also have a lot of the songs from Persona 4 on my Shuffle, too, including the ending theme song ^^ My friend just got Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga and I can't wait to play it~!!

In any case, I think in comparison, P3 has a much more interesting bunch of OSTs than P4. As you can see with Burn my Dread, its vocalization is much more deep and focused than the intro to P4. It's difficult to choose between them, but between I reach out to the Truth and Mass Destruction...

Yup, also loved that FES Mass Destruction.

I am also playing the PSP remake of Persona. As usual, Shoji Meguro was satisfactory in the music department of the game.

I kind of loathed the first Persona, but only because I couldn't bear with the fact battles had to take long if you wanted to get good stuff from uh... interacting with enemies in a non-bloody way, and the fact the maps were really stupid and made me waste an entire hour before I gave up on it.

... Despite my mini-rant on on the first one... let's now talk about Poem to Souls! The electronica version!

Gets me all pumped up sometimes, I never really heard electronica mixed with opera! XD Though the Blues' version is quite soothing, sometimes I find it creepy though.

Now, what about I'll Face Myself? That's one of the best, if not THE best boss battle musics P4 had. The first time I listened to it, it really got my head in pumpin'! Gah, I wanna have a listen to it now! And speaking of which, here it is!

The guy did quite a good job with it, imo. Though he had issues with some of the notes if I'm not wrong. Oh well, at least he had the guts to admit it! >3
