6 Months have disappeared?!

I noticed that for me my post count dropped from about 650 and it has now dropped 500 posts, I joined March and I lost about 6 months and my posts start showing up in September, I don't know if it was the site going down or something else but has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, all posts from June 2008 to Jan 2009 have been erased, from the site crash that happened about Jan 8th 2009 or so.

Slightly more accurate, the post counts had not been synchronized with the loss yet. Since recently they were synch'd, we are now seeing our alloted post counts without counting what we lost since the crash, while before we'd still see all those 'inexistant' posts.

Eveybody's is so high, so I couldn't rememer if anybody elses had changed so I thought I'd ask.

Anyway thanks, I just wasn't sure if the site going down had something to do with it or not.
