Thats normal. Click the thing that says you are 18 and older then the text. Go to channles and click on and you should be able to use the search feature from there.

I couldn't even find the 18,and older button. Is it supposed to take a very long time for the screen to finish loading? I counted up to 50,but it still didn't show up.

Don't ever go to Rule34, the site is pretty much just an excuse to warehouse material from other places, distributing them when they shouldn't (my favorites are the ones with clearly stating "Do not distribute") and put them along with tracking cookies and advertisements to boost and with idiotic anons talking crap about every single image not drawn by them. Just mere visiting that site is enough to cause permanent braindamage to you. (Such as starting to talk in idiotic slang and using terms like /b/ tard and other idiotism) To make things even more sad, it runs in horrible servers and the images may take incredible times to load some times, even with good connections.
