Mana Khemia: Lucifer of the Dawn

No normal person knows.

Or, rather, no-one should know.

Yet, a select few special people from the many millions are invited to a special Academy, to learn the ways of Alchemy. On the isolate island, sealed away from normal humans- is the Al-Revis Academy. There, freshmen and alike learn the ways of synthesizing, and alchemy. Once there, students will stay for three years before they are allowed to leave.

First years are called freshmen. Second years are called Schophomores. And the final years/third years are called Seniors. Now, throughout the weeks, there are assignments. These may be about synthesizing, collecting, mining, medicine, herbology, fishing, and many more. Students will collect items from the many monster-filled areas around the Academy, and fight them. If they do well, they will have free time to do whatever they want. However, if they don't, they will earn a painful detention; which will involve them fighting very strong enemies.

Seniors may rent out a room within the Academy and turn it into a workshop. In this workshop, many of the potions, foods and herbs are made, and other students may join the workshop and use it to their whims. Another room to take note of is the Atheor Room, which deals with anyone's making of armor, weapons or accessories.

Mana are also common within the Al-Revis Academy. Mana are monsters which have no intention of fighting humans or any intelligent life, and decide for a co-existance with them. Making a pact with them, the Mana will offer power and skills to their chained partner; as well as a companion. However, some might challenge their owner to see if they are worth being partnered with them. And some cannot talk. But they aren't all neccessary.

However, darkness is being born once again. And this time, from the lines of the academy's own. Can the new freshmen now deal with taking down this threat?

As many can guess, this is based on the first Mana Khemia game. Our characters will mostly be freshmen entering the academy, some will be seniors who will look over workshops, and some will be teachers. I will also be giving an original twist to the mix to differentiate itself from other similar things from the series and elsewhere.

Now, we all know the rules.

1. No Powerplaying! Everyone's characters are theirs only to control unless under special circumstances where you've been allowed.

2. No Godmodding! You're not invincible, you can be hit. Everyone can. Everyone has a weakness, well, besides normals. But they can still be hit.

3. If you see someone's falling behind, don't just rush on ahead. Give them a chance to post!

4. No more then two characters. If you feel comfortable doing three, and it's a special condition, talk to me first.

5. Bring what you want to this RPG! Be a bully, be a hero, be whoever you want to be. The limit is the sky... and the rules. Individual touch makes a good RPG.

Now, how elements work in this. Elements have weaknesses and resistances.

Earth beats Lightning
Lightning beats Water
Water beats Fire
Fire beats Ice
Ice beats Earth

So that's the way it works. Apply it opposite to get the resistances.

Name: Obvious!
Age: Only ages 16-24, teachers can be older then this
Description: Describe your character here, all his/her personal looks and such.
Standing: Is your character a freshman, a senior, or teacher?
Element: Choose one element. This element affects your starter skills.
Mana: If your character has a mana, say so and the special abilities it grants (Healing? Skills?)
Skills: Only have two skills at most for now. You'll learn more as you go along. The two skills you choose here must relate to your chosen element.

Mana: Yes, Cloud, Cloud islike hedgehog that is a being of water, can shot at an opponent like a cannonball since it is a cloud mana it can become bigger or smaller.
Soothing mist: Creates a healing effect for all allies that are within the mist
Needle Sphere Form (Not yet learned- the hedgehog forms a huge airtight sphere that encloses his target. The target is then suffocated.
Soothing Rain (unlearned): Same as Soothing Mist yet much greater effect over all allies
Needle Sphere Form, Reversed(unlearned) -creates a big airtight space where only people are allowed inside. There is limited oxygen supply. Also on the barrier there are spikes to impale opponents and is used to bring about a physical fight, since magic will not work.
Soothing storm (unlearned): Just as strong as soothing rain yet will also strike opponents with
Skills: Pelting rain: Has secret compartments in his tonfa that he shots droplets of water at his opponent
Water double: Creates a double of himself out of water that will take a couple of hits so he could counter attack
Box making: able to create small boxes to store items in it to be easily carried.

Mana: Yes, Radiant is an Ice Dragon that increases the power/durability of ice used by Saen.
Skills: Crystal Striker- A highly durable layer of ice surrounds Saen's hands and feet. This ice does high damage and is unmeltable.
Frost Shroud- Creates a small blizzard in the area. This blizzard makes it difficult for an opponent to see, but Saen can see just fine.

(Al-Revis Academy)

Another day dawned over the Academy. Today was the day- as many Seniors, Sophomores and Teachers went about their normal ways, the new Freshmen were to enter today. The principle looked up to the sky from his office, and sighed, holding out a student book with the names of all the new freshmen that were to be in the school from then on. "This is going to be another interesting year..." He grumbled to himself.

Flay, taking to the roof of the Student Affairs building, smiled grimly as his hair soon covered his eyes. "Hahaha... This year I'll definately get some new comrades!" He chortled, before running off into the distance and jumping off to the ground.


Walking in slowly and rubbing his arm nervously, Kyosan looked up to the sky. A peaceful blue, and the academy's white bleached walls stood out alongside it. It was a huge academy. As far as he knew, he was supposed to head to his first lesson and his introduction to the academy. Slowly putting his hand in his pocket, he started to walk into the building.

Mana: Yes. It allows her to sustain an ice reinforcement on her armor and sword. This does not cause rust.
Skills:
Feint Bite: Turns her own body, armor, and all into translucent ice, making her invisible. This takes power to maintain and she is -IMPOSSIBLE- to see unless covered in a foreign liquid AFTER she turns invisible. She also can give a large burst of energy to move at light speed, giving this skill a double purpose.

Frost Saber- Coats her blade in weightless, unbreakable, sharp on a molecular level, ice saber that doubles the length of her rapier.
