Well, thank Sekhmet, I no longer have to train on the registers. I hate those infernal machines. Half the time they wouldn't scan, the other half they'd crash out. Stupid IBM.

I've done Food Stamps, credit, debit, gift cards, WIC, both electronically and on paper, I've handled checks, and more cash than you can shake a stick at. I had over $150 in ONES ALONE. Close to $500 in 50s and 100s.

It was relatively easy work. Just swipe, bag, tend. But standing still for 8 hours is Hell on your feet. I'll be glad to be in a position where I can move around more.

I miss Ray, too. I miss RPing with that li'l philipino fucker. I hope he comes back soon. I'm bored out of my skull, here.

And Wisemon, that only counts for those of us who can actually afford to celebrate Christmas. Hopefully this year I can at least afford a tree, and maybe to give a few gifts. God, I miss Christmas. The trees just smell so good. And the food....nothing can describe the smorgusboard that is known as Christmas dinner....

Well, this is just fucking ducky.

I wake up, go check on the cats, and Chairman Meow is dead. Cold. He is survived by his brother, the black kitten called Adolf Kitler. He was only six weeks old. Just started on solid food.

I just hope it wasn't too traumatic on Kitler. They were in the same cage together last night. They usually sleep whereever they want to, but one of them pooped on my bed last night, and I ended up laying facefirst in it.
