It's really hard to function properly when you're treated like shit your entire life, which is what led most of these people to snap. I know this because I went through the same situations. By my Senior year in High School, I just wanted to be left alone so I can finish earning my credits and graduate. HOWEVER, because of worthless assholes, I was arrested over mass paranoia, and I'm still feeling the sting 2 years later.

Making more gun laws aren't going to do anything to stop the shootings from happening, and daily screenings *which has already been done* will do nothing but strip the students of what limited privacy they already have.

And how is what you're doing telling Magus these things in this thread different from the spam I did?

Back on topic, Gun Control laws really don't do much. If you really wanted to kill someone, there are so many ways of doing it. And the taking away of personal rights via individual screenings really doesn't work, too. You never really know if someone is going to snap. The best course of action is just to be nicer to eachother.

You can't make people be nice and the reality is that some people are just natural-born assholes.

Frankly, the problem is bigger than a lot of people can see and bringing about the required actions would be like pulling teeth, as they go against the status quo.

This is true, but guns are the most affective in doing this, with a knife you can at lest have a chance to disarm him because he's so close but with a gun... Well... you can't avoid a bullet and you can't touch someone 30 feet away from you... unless you have REALLY long arms XD So maybe banning guns is a good idea... or we could do what Kat Williams says... make a bullet worth 1o,ooo$. XD See how may murders there will be after that lol.

Now to move onto topic.
Gun laws are really just to lower the number of weapons available to kids, so hopefully the school killings won't so devastating. Then again, if America had a better control over illegal weapons smuggling there wouldn't be much call for the 2nd amendment but i digress.

No I'm serious here, what kind of police officer finds out someone has paranoia and thinks that the best course of action is to surround the person with armed officers and drag him off to a police station? Surely that's going to increase his levels of paranoia, which I'm hoping is not what the officer intends to do.

Yes, definately. We're on the topic of a school shooting where people died and a very sensitive subject indeed. This is the best time of all to ask about porn, regardless of the topic at hand and how serious it is... /sarcasm. On the note of the name-calling, it's not a similar low. Don't compare them.

Regardless, many things come into factor here.

A) Blame the parent, as he left the gun out- giving his son the great opportuinity he needed.
B) Letting him play Counter-Strike when the parent has ownership of a gun which is used in the game >.<
C) The pupils/society/teacher's attitudes towards said individual
D) Leaving ammo in a gun when you know your son can just as easily use it

There's probably more reasons towards how it occured. But those are the majority. Still, my regards to those families who lost someone.

No, people think whenever you talk about guns they assume you're going to have a shoot out, so they talk to the principal. Then everything goes downhill from there. Look, I am a very psychotic person, and people ask me out for sex, but they know I'm psychotic and most likely to shoot people. So, when someone heard me talking about a videogame, someone flipped first that I was talking to someone, then that I said "then I'm going to shoot him" and he ran to the principal.

I didn't really warn because of it being spam, as much as I warned because it was as mentioned, totally out of place, immoral, offensive, and vulgar to do so. How can you even compare the two things, as if I was somehow disrespecting the deceased ones is beyond me.
