Free Game Download Problem...

Theres a game that i've been trying to download and play, but the only problem is the downloading...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of...Chen..oyble...? I dunnno....

There are places to download the game for free and play it, but you have to get it from the site then download it off Limewire, problem is, IT NEVER WORKS!

Instead, i decided to get the game on a disk from a friend, i did the installing and all that with no problem... thing is, he says i need to find a patch for a No CD. Can't really find one for it that works...

Anyone know how to do this? It's just really a pain the ass....

Gol, downloading free S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl never works...but if you've got some spare cash, you can just get it from amazon or somewhere. Heres a guideline that i did for it:
1. Buy game/steal friend's copy. (it works on Vista, don't worry)
2. download patch 1.00005 or something from the official website http://www.stalker-game.com/en/?page=patches
3. if you want more thilling gameplay download the Oblivion Lost 2.1 mod. (download from the ninth post) http://forums.filefront.com/s-t-l-k-e-r-...halos.html
4. remember not to attack too many when you just have a crappy PMM.
