Also because Christmas is one of the most wasteful, corrupted, and altogether annoying holidays. It doesn't take into consideration people who hate their families, people who have to drive through the mall highway to get home from work, etc.

Here's a little Christmas poem I wrote recently, little better than last year's, also copyrighted:

Ghost of Christmas Ever-present

It's been beginning to look like Christmas
Ever since Labor Day, when cherry red and
Pine green came out, agreed to stop clashing,

And the credit card companies, in the spirit,
Said they wouldn't charge interest; just prove
Purchases are given and eliciting ambient cheer.

It seems this year we lost a pocket of faith
In our institutions and the fruits of education.
We never imagined the power we deeply valued

Could become ruptured, deflated, insolvent,
But those concerns will be swept by yuletide.
Songs of Santa will drown out monumental debt,

And all looming scrooges will be dissuaded
By belief in tradition, our unfazed distractions,
Our ironclad candy canes, our tinsel and gift wrap.

These are the best investments for a new year,
One where Christmas can last through February,
And rituals can resurrect what was always worthless.

Yeah. I know. Wise doesn't like X-mas and isn't very found of his 8 days. But I'll still wish him a good one anyway.

I'd like to wish you all a wonderful christmas you guys, and i hope you enjoy the gifts your family and friends have bestowed upon you. If you don't, steal as much food and alcohol as you can :P

And Cheer up Wise...if it makes you feel better, you're far better off then being a Mongongo Nut. They're found commonly in elephant dung and people eat them even though they're been through there.

But sometimes its in those moments that you do something comfortable that you truly enjoy those times when you are not. Wise, you will get to that point and Christmas no matter the religion or holiday its the ideal of pushing for a better tomorrow with our fellow men and woman. I hope that you will have a Holiday that will be a reminder of better things and of friends. Each Holiday is what you make it...
