Day after day, month after month, it always happens. It manifests itself in different ways, from debilitating blindness in my right eye, to being crushed by the transmission from my brother's truck. The entire world shits on me.

Right now, as of 2:45 central standard time, I am stranded in some podunk town called Schulenberg, Texas. The transmission on my dad's van decided to say, "fuck y'all, I quit." And quit, right there on Interstate 10.

After a nervewracking limp to a gas station, and two bottles of Automatic Transmission Fluid later, still nothing. Third gear is completely shot. The engine bay stinks of burnt clutches, eminating from General Motor's "Venerable" Turbo-Hydramatic TH700-R4. We can't limp it home, for fear of the transmission COMPLETELY grenading, and leaving us as unwilling permanent residents of this Hellhole.

To add icing to this shitcake, we called everyone and anyone we knew, trying to get SOME form of help. Nothing.

My Aunt even had the balls to say "She wasn't going to save us anymore". When did she save us last? Where was I for this mythical act of kindness? It was her idea for us to drive to San Antonio in the first place! SHE FUCKING INSISTED ON IT.

To make matters worse, I have my smelly, overactive, hyperactive German Shepherd in here with us, and his bouncing around is further adding to my stress and aggrivation.

80 miles from home, with 10 bucks left. I am officially up Shit Creek without a paddle. I'm one more bad thing away from walking over to I-10 and stepping in front of an oncoming semi. I don't think I can take anymore of life's shit.

At least you live somewhere where it is warm. I live in Canada and it is getting closer to winter. I walk 1k form my place to school and I do that 5 times a day. So in about a month -20 degrees celcius walking 5 kilometers in nothing but a spring coat and summer shoes. Last winter I had to skip school for a week to thaw my legs. Now for the one months time add in bad drivers, tons of ice, and the normal pricks at school I end up with a worse time then you.

First off, an update:

Someone finally answered our call of help, an Ex-girlfriend of my dad's. She picked us up and is letting us layover at her place until we get paid on tuesday.


Second, dude, you live in CANADA. I live in Texas. You don't have near as much I have to worry about.

Three out of the four seasons here, it's a BLAST FURNACE. The other season, this one to be exact, it's cold as Hell.

Second, my dad's van, along with my $500 worth of tools, is literally sitting at the corner of Bumfuck ln., and You Got A Purdy Mouth rd. You could almost hear the banjos over the roar of Big Rigs blasting by.

And you have it easy. You walk a path you know. I'm stuck in a small town I know nothing about. My Van is 59 miles away in Schulenberg, and home sweet home is 157 miles away.


*waves paws* but, this isn't why this is here. I don't want to compare shitty lives with people. I was really stressed out, and needed to vent before I did something I would regret. I'm still stressed out, but, some furry porn and a nice long nap oughta fix that right up.

Well, the dawn is approaching. The light is getting brighter, and life is getting a little easier.


The guy we bought the van from, who assured us that everything was in working order, feels bad about the van proving him wrong. Not only is he going to drive out here and tow the Van back on his boss's wrecker, he's even lined up a replacement transmission. Which will save us roughly $500 in repair costs.

My dog has settled down, after a night of sleeping in my bed, and experiencing what it was like to be an inside dog. He has mellowed out considerably.

I even found some work out here, to get me a bit of foldin' money. My dad's ex's son paid me 20 bucks to crawl under his single-wide trailer house, and spray the piers with termiticide. I'm dirty, sore, and picking sticky burrs out of myself, but, I got money.


As the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. After clearing my head, and calming down, things fell into place.


And, yes. I enjoy furry porn. Is that going to be a problem?
