Amanda opened the door and almost screamed when Shadow bolted out. She peaked in at Anny and smiled before closing the door softly and sighing. As she did, her hand unconsciously went up to her neck and rubbed her collar. Amy had tried to tell her something before but seemed unable to speak it or even write it. She knew it was the collars.

Amanda shook her head and picked up her vacuum cleaner, taking it away from the room before she continued her cleaning in peace.
