Amy hurried into the shower and cleaned herself thoroughly, trying desperately to wash his smell off her. But she smiled throughout it all. She had a plan now, a way to freedom! If she could just hold it then she would be able to be free and free her mother and save her sister as well! She clung to that hope, and it gave her defeated soul strength it could not muster by itself.
As she came out of the shower in a towel, she realized that Shadow was still in her room sleeping in puppy form. She did not want to be naked again, not so soon and not before him, so she tiptoed into her room and began to get some clothes. If all went well, then she would tip toe back out to the bathroom and get dressed there.
