So far, it's been a very disappointing year for commercial rock, but fortunately, there's still hope with both Metallica and The Offspring scheduled to release new albums. I'm really looking forward to the new Bad Religion album that comes out tomorrow.

I agree with you, there sounds and alot of there mechanics musically seem to be driven by popular stereotypes and amongst other things they seem to be too monotonous. There lyrics are beginning to eat up a poor mans dictionary rather filling the void with poetic consistency. >>;

I am looking forward to the others that not many people know about to be honest.
