David walked into the camp, Thompson craddled in his arms. Seeing some members of his squad, he marched over to them.

"Saddle up, boys, something's going down," he said, nodding to the group of soldiers marching down the road.

sesan walked up to lietenant nicleson and asked":sir what's going on"
"things just don't seem right"

He lifted his head and looked at Sesan.

"Your about to find out..."

He said to him and stood up on the jeep he sat on.

"Alright men, listen up and gather around, got some news to tell you..."

sean:this doesn't sound good
were in trouble arent we sir

"...Yeah...the situation is that the germans have invaded a nearby church and are making their way toward us. We need to push them back and stop their advancement from taking over St. Lo."

He said before climbing down from the jeep.

"Men! Gather up your equipment, grab our M1 Garands and Thompsons, then hop in the truck!"

He ordered standing by the nearby half truck that awaited for the troops.

Fred who was sitting around heard the orders and did so, grabbing an armful of Garands before setting them next to the truck. He passed them out to the other troops while they were getting in

he was looking a little worried as this was his frst battle

"no problem...." he said as a reply, already knowing that he didn't hear him. he knew something was up, he was just a Private, just another grunt in the army, he knew that something was wrong. he put the rest of the rifles in the truck and hopped in as well.
