Man, why did I come in so late... Some of my fav riddles are already done and answered! Oh well...
I'll give you all the first riddle my father ever gave me, when I was 5.
A rooster lays an egg on top of a two sided, triagular roof. Which way does the egg roll?
Easy, lol.
I got a good one, that was almost taken before:
You are in a house with 4 walls. Each wall is south. Who do you live by? (This one is a joke, but easy to answer)
Here is my most fav riddle:
You are in a room with no doors nor windows. The only things in this idle room are a table and a mirror. What can you do to excape?
And just a few more:
Three kids from Bristol went for a walk. About a mile into the walk, they came to a deep, wide river. There was no bridge. They didn't have a boat or raft, or any materials to make one. None of them could swim.
How did they cross the river?
A woman walked out the back door of the farmhouse on a Thursday afternoon and found a man's pipe, a scarf and three lumps of coal lying on the wet grass. They weren't there on Tuesday and no one had been near the house for weeks. Where did the objects come from?
A true story: a white horse jumped over a tower and landed on a priest, who immediately disappeared from the landscape. Where did this happen?
Give those a try.
